The arena>every ski movie from this season

Go see some older FODT movies. IMO The Arena was the worst FODT vid in a while. Familia is by far my fave.
 
yeah. i honestly wasnt that stoked on the arena. but i was bummed out from the beginning because i thought FODT movies were the one video safe from the horrors of dubstep.

i think its safe to say in general snowboard movies > ski movies
 
I concur. Moment of Truth was another good one too. Their shit is stale now though, who wants to see a whole movie of slo-mo lifestyles?? Paxson kills it however.
 
yeah man when i love a movie so much, i post up as much as i can of it online for everyone to watch for free so the people who made the movie have more inscentive to make another baller film next season. awesome.
 
This. Storming was the best snowboard flick this year. Why do some people love urban and jibs so much? Big mountain, big air, big jumps > rails, bonks, presses, pretending to be a gangster and ugly clothes.
 
Its all good man i love skiing pow but i would rather watch a Traveling circus episode instead of a tgr webisode or whatever. Skiing is skiing stop thinking you are better than other people on ns because you like pow more than park.
 
Think Thank and Videograss are two of the most creative and unique film crews out there right now for and I still love watching anything from absinthe or standard films for pow and big mtn.

That stuff absolutely sucked. If you want a great snowboard movie, go get Deeper, that was sick.

Thank god I don't live back east. If this stuff gets those kids stoked, well that really sucks for them.
 
TITA > all and thats basically all big mountain. so really no, its true, snowboard movies are just better.

also, get off your high horse, you arent better just because you only ride pow. its not snowing every day of every season.
 
I liked cheers and the storming better than eye trip (which was lame, no where close to as good as refresh). Both were so good.
 
After watching cheers I'm not sure why everyone likes Sexton's part so much? The technicality is insane in it, but that's all he does...just handrails. Personally I really like huge drops and transfers, rather than hitting a 4 kink scary as shit handrail. That said, his part was really really impressive....I just think it lacked a WOW factor because there were no huge drops. Anyone have any thoughts?
 
no fucking way did they hit the Alf's Rail at Alta. I wonder if theyre the same ones that broke in through the windows and stole a bunch of shit, wouldnt surprise me
 
didn't think TK's part was as dope as Hard to earn or his parts from the Forum movies...but still dope, and the movie as a whole was legit.

snowboard big mountain < ski big mountain

just my thought though....
 
the FODT movies r not in any way shape or form the best sowboard movies. videograss, cheers, and the storming r way better and dont hav a bunch of fake gangsters, though some of the technine guys r dope.

in real snowboard movies, the big mountain is way better than in ski movies cuz snowboarders actually THROW DOWN in big mountain throwing dubs and sick shit off pow kickers and cliffs and shit..
