The appeal process

Have any of you been through the court appeal process? I received a traffic ticket and recently went to court for it. I was completely prepared and had at least 10 different valid motions for dismissal that were ignored by the incompetent judge. She went through with the trial even though I objected to there being no prosecutor and the cop had literally no evidence at all that what he stated in court was true. These traffic courts are fucking kangaroo courts. I'm filing an appeal to a higher court, do any of you know the process or any good website that could give me more information. I've read the official forms from the court but its hard to grasp any kind of real explanation out of it at all.

Any help would be much appreciated. Hell, if you help me and the case is overturned on appeal I will send you $25 dollars through paypal.

i havent been through it, im just 16, but i know you better get on that quick, because there is probably a time limit, and i bet that for your appeal trial it would be good to have witnesses of the first trial that will say that you first trial was unfair

I have until December 8th. I don't believe witnesses of the trial matter, its a paper form that is reviewed that lists law abuses I felt were committed and from what I have gathered a higher court reads over it along with the transcript from the court case and make their decision to write out an explanation of why they stand by the courts decision, or write nothing, overturn the case and return my money.

the legal costs will end up cosing more then the ticket. if you win, which rarley happens in traffic courts, especially when you appeal a traffic offence, then the only positive will be saveing your driving record. but money and time wise it 95% of the time is not worth it.

Theres no cost, I have no lawyer nor do I intend to hire one. I have an appeal form from the court and I'm wondering how exactly the process works. Do I have to make another appearance or is it just reviewed by a higher court?

Usually I would just say fuck it and pay up and move on by this point but the judge was so incredibly incompetent that I think I have a good chance of winning on appeal.
