13769899:st.vanski said:I'm also looking for some advice.
I just got myself a new pair of Armada Edollos (188, 2017).
Currently using K2 Recoil with Salomon STH 13.
When i bought them i didn't do much gym activitys and was like 175lbs.
Since then i got up to 200lbs, vary between 190 and 210.
With my old Skis i could not really butter that good, since they are pretty stiff.
This is gonna change now, since i will butter alot.
I am riding mostly everywhere, 50/50 park and pow.
Also cruising around the slope sometimes, playing around, butter around etc.
That's why i would go for a 14/15 binding i guess?
I want to keep costs on a medium level.
I can't find a lot of the bindings mentioned in the Thread (I'm from Germany).
Alot of them seem to be out of stock.
Do you guys have any idea which one i should get?

13769947:st.vanski said:tbh i have no clue about bindings at all.
The Thread said
"14/15 Din Bindings: I would recommend a 14/15 din binding generally only for people who are 175lbs+ as well as being a pretty aggressive skier. "
That pretty much fits me, since i am about 195-210 lbs and wanna go for butters, park, pow - which gonna be pretty aggressive.
A Din calculator i used told me to go for Din 9.5, after i put my data in.

13769999:YourXXXLIsDumb said:Also, what is your price range?

I'm 164 cm tall and 52 kilos weight. Skis: K2 missDemeanor 121-90-112

13778520:AlfredHitchCAULK said:i would say either would do the job for the most part but a better more durable option would be stepping up into a Tyrollia attack 13, Marker Griffon, salomon warden 13 or look/fks 12. they'll be a little more expensive but more durable, you would also have to make sure your din setting would fit with them, your probably a 5 or 6 but I'd definately check on that before you buy one.
13755156:tallteesteeze said:Just ordered the Candid 2.0.. the ski has a 102 waist. Could a 95 be stretched to fit these as well, or would you recommend a 115?
13840838:FIRAT said:Okay, so I am 6,8ft/2,05m and my weight is 233lbs/106kilos. I really only want to do manuals/wheelies and buttering. Here and there some rails and jumps. What should I do? Since I feel like I'm a pretty special case..

13949887:SofaKingSick said:...in my experience and that of everyone I know, they're not bad about pre releasing, so you can run "true" din settings on them imo. If you're particularly hard on bindings tho I'd say get the 16s, they are made a little more durable

So my question is if there are any differences between pivot 12 and 14 except the DIN range? Are the toe or heel pieces worse in the 12? How do they compare qualitywise? Tried to search for it but didn't find any good answers (maybe i'm shit at searching tho)

But the best way to search this site (which has tons of pivot discussion over the years) is googling site:newschoolers.com + your search terms
13944766:ObjectMocked said:Yo so I’ve just bought some CT 3.0s and I gotta get bindings on em. I’m also trying to squeeze another year out of my boots before getting a size up. Are there any bindings with a good amount of forward pressure adjustability? I don’t wanna have to remount next season.
I’m not a fan of Markers since my griffons broke fairly quickly after going fat to flat. I’d probably go for a pair of look bindings, but I dont know how adjustable they’ll be. Any input would be hella clutch.
13962832:enskaa said:Whats up
It is my third season of active riding and I have been using my cousins old(ragged) skis which I got for like 100 euros. So I think it is time to buy a set of new ones. I have been thinking about the new Armada ARW 96, but because I'm such a novice I don't have any idea how wide bindings should I get.
I know the guideline that they should be as wide as the skis or a little bit wider.
Can someone suggest some bindings and give a reason why.
Peace
13962838:SofaKingSick said:You know the arw are a women's ski right? Just making sure. Arv is the male version
And I'd say get the tyrola attack 13s. Cause they're a great binding for pretty cheap and they're pretty light
How wide bindings do you suggest?
