The 2011-2012 Saga thread

there is no longer a zipper on my vest, dont know how it happened but i tried to zip it up at the top of the hill and it was not there, all other pieces of it are intact and un damaged. mindfucked
 
Im 5'10" pretty broad and i little big in the stomach. would an xl jacket / XL pant combo (both anomie) be nice. Ps. I dont wan it like super supper baggy like to my knee cap
 
u sound exactly my size the thing is large isnt to the knee but its tight around the waist but the xl isnt but it goes to the knees so id go with xl specially pants
 
Thanks some of my friends have been confusing like he told me to get XL but he said when he got his that it was a little small and that i should get a large. thanks for the clarification
 
Do you guys like the jacket clinched a little bit or no Clinch?? On the top of page 68 shows 2 blue (same as mine) jackets. And I was wondering what you guys like better???
 
i dont understand why everyones havin problems with getting heir saga. ive ordered multiple things over the past year and theyve all gotten here in no more than a week or two.
 
Yeah last year my stuff arrived fine, but this year I ordered in September and I still have nothing, also Saga have been very strange about dealing with the situation. As in according to them they shipped my order on November 30th, but USPS only received the package on December 13th, the day after I questioned saga about my missing order and broken tracking number. I then questioned this discrepancy, and my post was deleted off their wall. But I'm sure Saga can offer a perfectly reasonable explanation for all this?
 
got a swag bag from saga at the shop I work at. The gloves and mittens are fucking sweet! they're way better quality than I expected them to be.

beware though, I got the M/L pipe gloves and they barely fit my small hand. so those with huge hands should probably avoid the pipe glove, the mitten is fine.
 
Anybody know when the winter line drops? The lookbook came out a while ago and I haver heard anything about it sense then
 
im 5' 11' where will a large anomie come up to me i currently have a orage Xavier shell in large will it be comparable in size? since i dont feel like reading 65 pages of this thread how does saga water proofing hold up (main reason i am looking for a new jacket)
 
Anomie is very waterproof for not being like a north face Everest climbing jacket. Like I use my one from last year as a rain jacket
 
Honestly I would get XL. I am 5'11 & it comes mid thigh with it cinched. Perfect fit if ask me. L is just to short, looks like a normal jacket on someone our height.
 
just got the enlisted vest in XL and its huge! im 5'11 and 150lbs. it hits in the middle of my kneecap. also just got the yacht club hoodie. its awesome. i got a Land it right in the middle of my thigh (perfect)

Im 5'11'' and 165 lbs. If you want it baggy and tall buy the xl, the large is too big for streatwear and too small ( or some person) for skiing.

For the water proofing it's pretty decent, i use it as my rain coat when it's raining.

does anyone know about the button downs/ flannels/ coaches jackets that were in the lookbook?
 
Can people please stop using the word "classy" to describe a fucking sweatshirt? It's not classy to wear a hoodie. It may be a nice hoodie, but nobody's going to look at you wearing a baggy sweatshirt and think, "Wow, that guy just oozes class." It's a god damn sweatshirt, not a suit.
 
THIS, to a certain extent. I think classy is a misused word, used to describe subdued designs by kids these days who are used to crazy obnoxious bullshit. These sweatshirts are no means classy.

A wool jacket is classy. Something you'd wear to your rich grandmother's 80th birthday is classy.

They aren't obnoxious though.
