The 2011-2012 Saga thread

Saw the Shutout in person last night, looks way sick in person. Liked it a lot more than the online pics.
 
I'm 5'11175 with decently broad shoulders
Purchased an Anomie suit and bought L
Thinking I should have purchased XL now.
Want the jacket to be like 2-2.5 inches above my knee.Also what pants should I have got?
Should I stick with the L or email Saga and see if I can get an XL suit???

I am also 5'11 but much smaller than you weighin in at 130 with narrow shoulders. I'm a skinny bitch. Anywho, when I bout my jacket last year (assuming sizing is the same this year) it ended up about 2 inches above my knees. Ummm..based on that, If I were your build, I'd go XL.

hopefully that helps a little.
 
Just get Xl coz I am 6'1 and with bit wider shoulders and bit wider chest and shoulder plates and I tested my friends XL I was in love since I had been looking for baggy outwear and thats what I found feeling imba good, but there will always be jellys and haters hating!

No they have not...this thread would be blowing up if it was shipping. They are, however, receiving their inventory so it should be soon.

To answer your earlier question, I would recommend XL pants and probably jacket too. It all really depends on your body though. I'm a hair over 5'9" and last years XL jacket was a few inches above my knee.
 
and just to clarify, I'm not fat. I weigh 160lbs and have an athletic build (I've had people on NS accuse me of having an oddly proportioned body and saying that an XL shouldn't fit that way on a person my size, but that is not the case)
 
well no, I'm not. I workout. I have pretty big traps, shoulders, and pecs so that obviously factors in to the way a jacket hangs. It was probably about 3 inches above my knee with a normal, slightly tight, cinch.
 
hmmm i bought L pants with xl jacket and im 5 10, still growing possibly. do you reckon i change to Xl pants or not bother. whats the difference, i dont like ridiculous pants tho.
 
Change to XL If your still growing. It will look better with XL jacket and They aren't that MAD BAGGY as First Drops pants..
 
Ordered Wiley Miller Anomie, and Black Enlisted Vest, Both XL. so fucking stoked. I live in the SLC, so i went down to the Store and ordered them there. The guy was chill and refunded my shipping and said he would shoot me an email once my stuff showed up so i could come pick it up.

Checked my email everyday for about a week and a half now, much more than normal.
 
What pants are Meg Olenick wearing in Saga's recent post on there facebook where she has the pb&j jacket on? They look like a sick beige color but i don't see them on the website anywhere..

and to all the people asking shipping questions (i know this has been said) but i just asked on the live chat and they said all preorders are (hopefully knowing what happened last year) being shipped out BY nov 30 whichc means you could get it midway tru november

I'm 5'6 125lbs and a small waist. I have no idea what size to go with. It seems like a L would be MASSIVE. Has anyone around my size gone with a M? How did you like it?

Well if you have small shoulders or you are otherwise super skinny as most of the other park rats in my mountain then yes but if you are like big boned but not fat then I wouldn't worry about it. I have only tested my friends XL suit and I am 6'1 and ''big boned'' (bit wider shoulders n' stuff) and it wasn't wide just long, dunno about the L jacket for skinny dude tho. I'd say go for it if you like bigger clothing more than regular fit.
 
so i guess the saga logo on the murda mystery pants is going to be blue, not grey like the pre sale photo shows, i know its not that big of a deal but im kind of let down
 
Oh just checked that Saga Anomie 3L video and those Murda Mysterys had white logo on that vid so I think thats just older model.
 
i'm 5' 5", 150 lbs (not fat, muscle) and i have broad shoulders so i went with large jacket medium pants.

i have a pair or large sessions pants that are close to the same size as the medium saga, and they fit perfectly, pretty baggy but not too crazy. stoked on the jacket though, kinda worried it might be too big but i can always return.

on a side note, i think the blue saga logo on the murda mystery pants looks sick.... but i guess i'm the only one who thinks that...
 
thanks...im definately going with medium pants. im still worried a large jacket would be enormous on me. A tape measure can only tell you so much...
 
true that

the closest measuring i can do is comparing with other stuff i own... i have a 33 inch tall hoodie thats like an inch above my knees and i think large saga is 34 inches tall (right?), so i can suck it up with a little taller than average jacket, or go with the medium and it'd be a little smaller than my liking haha

and i'm a little shorter than you, large will be perfect
