The 2011-2012 Saga thread

Yup, I got a black die cut and a windells academy sticker. Now I can pretend like my parents are loaded!
 
My brother just said my saga arrived his house. so stoked! i wont get to see it till next week though when i fly back to america
 
the way saga handled shipping pisses me off. so it says priority when i order, but then they ship UPS and it was scheduled to arrive monday. ok, i guess that's alright, but no. now i look, it sat for 48 hours before shipping and now isn't scheduled to come til next thursday. gee, thanks saga!
 
I understand that Saga have hardly anyone running their shipping, but i just got an email from paypal refunding me 42 bucks...... Not too happy as that's all I got telling me something was out of stock and i ordered at 11.40 EST on Monday......
 
i'll rant all i want, when they tell me priority (meaning it would've already been here) but then i gotta wait a whole extra week? should i be happy with that? especially when it's around -14 to -19 this week with no jacket...
 
I agree he can rant since they charged 13 bucks for shipping that in reality should cost much less by the time they get it to.
 
well thats your own fucking fault for not all ready having at least 1 jacket during january....

This. How do you start a ski season without a jacket? I know that most park rats are borderline retarded, but come on, that's pushing it.
 
Mine was supposed to be here today, but idk because we are having fire and wind problems here. It says that it lefts the facility 2 days ago, and then it just disappeared off the face of the earth
 
i just shipped out my other jacket yesterday because i was initially expecting this to be here, until they pulled their bullshit shipping.

ps to toasty, you're not in america, so you don't have it.
 
mine is 20 miles from my house in a ups hub. not going to get here till monday because they dont deliver on saturdays :[ (i think)
 
Just picked mine up from teh UPS center. Super nice quality, especially compared to the dc pants i was using. plus now even though they are 2 different years they match.

Saga threw in a shoelace belt, a windells sticker, and sticky patch.
 
same, i really wish they were consistent and used usps, then my jacket would be here tomorrow and in perfect time for a nice pow day.

guess ill still be rocking the old one this weekend.
 
For everyone complaining about shipping...I ordered my stuff late on Tuesday, got it today. Shipped USPS priority. Thanks SAGA.
 
well you are one of the lucky ones who actually got theirs shipped via usps.

mine is currently sitting in commerce city, why doesnt ups deliver on saturday!?!!?!?!??!?
 
I think that they probably have a quota that they can send via USPS at a certain cost. The overflow then likely goes out via UPS. And you guys are all really lucky. My stuff was sitting there just waiting to be brought to a UPS location from Tuesday night until Friday night.
 
chew on this, i ordered on monday, you ordered tuesday, you get your stuff before i get mine.

however i am sure once i get the jacket all of my hate will be settled, i just expected more from this company since i see you guys rave about it all the time. never really read a saga thread before.
 
No hate, just wanted to let people know that my stuff came without an issue. People need to hear the good experiences along with the bad.
 
besides my jacket a week late, my crew also is scheduled late, but i know once i have it all my hate/annoyance will be settled too lol, i'm just anxious and expected what i was told.
 
this is probably why i am so bummed/frustrated that is wasnt here for this weekend.

i really wanted to use it!! i guess it will just be that much sweeter when i get to though.
 
lucky. mine arrived at the local ups hub at 6am friday, and instead of delivering it they left it there all day :/
 
yeah despite the fire my stuff actually got here the day before it was expected to, and i found where the ipod goes, its the top left outside pocket. its just hard to find the hole that the earphones go in
 
I wish that pocket had a zipper, the zipper feels safer. But some dumbass burnt down 20' something homes, throwing out ashes that where still burning..... Dick
 
alright saga sent me a new jacket after this and it was all fine and dandy , btu guess fuckin what the same exact thing just hapened again. same pocket same exact rip, like what the fuck?
 
Tell them about it, and then just sew it. Hopefully you'll get a coupon or summat, that rip isn't a big deal
 
i had trouble finding it. its the top left outside pocket. (left when your wearing it, right when you take it off)
 
yeah found it pretty quickly actually. the headphone port is just in the middle of the pocket.

also found that there are actual cinch elastics on the bottom like any regular jacket; wasn't expecting those. left bottom pocket (the zippered part) also has a pass leash.
