The 2011-2012 Saga thread

I was lucky enough to get a chance to see, feel, and try on some of the stuff at Windells last week, here is my run-down of what I saw:

Everything looks amazing in person

Steve Stepp told me the XL is smaller for next year; I tried it on, and didn't notice any difference. There may be some, as I haven't worn my XL jacket in months.

The fabric feels amazing

The main zipper on the Anomie Jacket is now a waterproof zipper, like the exposed chest pocket zippers.

Pants look a bit baggier than last year's

The exterior fabric of the On Deck is BEEFY. It's a pretty heavy jacket, with quite a bit of insulation.

I tried on an XL On Deck, it was WAY smaller than the XL 2012 Anomie I tried on. Fit about the same as a Large anomie from last year.

Slims look like a normal fit on snowboarders, but when Corbin went skiing, they strangely looked way slimmer. :)

I'm stoked, needa figure out what to order.
 
That would be weird. Plus assuming he's on the hill, it would really suck to take his pants and boots off and stand in the snow
 
I did not, but if you are talking about the slims, I can help.

XL slims do not look like "fitted" pants. They look slim, but do not really hug the leg at all. At least not on the people I saw wearing them.

I saw a girl wearing the mediums, and they looked pretty small, so I easily settled on the fact that I will get larges.
 
Ah crap didn't think of it that way... Was kinda assuming some of the pros were nice enough to show some of the stuff off off-hill...

@Noobula: Unfortunately I was talking about the Anomie pants, but from the sound of things I should just go with large...
 
I tried to get steve to wear his slims to the hill one day so I could both see them and possibly get a chance to try them off, if he didnt mind de-pantsing for a moment, but that fucker blew it.

here is the situation, on tuesday, i purchased an xl Vivid Jacket, and they said i can buy something else so i surpass the $350 for the grab bag, so i may just buy a vest. And i can always switch the jacket so let me know which one you like the most. let me know what i should put a vest over
 
yee, that looks sick

also i havent been really following all this saga threads and stuff and this might be a stupid question

but on the size chart is "A" the circumference or just the width? im getting worried cuz i bought a set of medium pants cuz i thought large would be too big, im 5 9' -5'10 and pretty skinny for referance.

IT'S A TRAPPPPPyou definitely should get L cuz it doesn't really matter about the waist size cuz they have velcro shit inside you can adjust, and medium will be very tiny in length, i suggest you email saga to switch it
 
Inside of the Anomie is the same. I didnt get to take a serious look at the inside of the On Deck, but the Home is yellow quilted, so I would assume Away is purple quilted. Dont know about pockets.

Hood on Anomie is the same as this year, and the hood on the On Deck is 3-panel with drawstrings like a hoodie.

Again, I don't know about the Shut Out.

I'm about 5' 9'' - 5' 10'' 160 lbs. Looking at possibly getting a pair of the slims.

Curious what sizes other people went for. I wear a large anomie pant, but since I'd like a pair of skinny pants wouldn't the medium make more sense?
 
hey guys I am 6' 3" and pretty skinny I got large pants and can't decide wether or not that was a bad decision I want baggy but not a ton what do you guys think?
 
could be some old news but the socks are up, if this is a repost i am truly sorry for making read a sentence on pointless information.
 
Does anyone have any idea on the approximate shipping date...I know that they ship before November 30 though +k for reply
 
Wow I haven't really seen anyone get the Anomie Purple Rain Pant...cuz that's what I got to go with my blue with orange zippers Oakley jacket which will be so dope
