The 2010-11 Saga Thread

here ill copy past from a couple pages back, that way more people can see it

so im not about to post some ridiculous modeling pictures of myself in this because thats absurd, but for those wondering im 6'2" and an xl is precisely 4 inches above the top of my kneecap, when its not cinched. cinched it rides up an inch or two higher. its definitely big, but still perfectly functional skiing, and prevents the dreaded snow up the back/down the pants. for regular wear with jeans it looks a little odd, but ive solved that by basically rolling up the bottom with it cinched so theres sort of a fold. looks normal and is no longer excessively long.

construction seems super solid. first time ive owned a 3L jacket, but it definitely seems sturdy and rip proof. print on the inside is super rad too.

theres a cool little wrist pocket on the left arm with a key clip inside. audio pocket hidden behind the flap that goes over the zipper on the left chest, with a headphone port to the inside of the jacket. two waterproof chest pockets. the bottom square pockets are actually two. theres zippers under the flaps to two big pockets, and then waterproof zippers on the side to seperate pockets, though they are basically on top of each other. finally theres a second audio pocket on the right inside of the jacket. zips open on the inside, another headphone port.

vents under both arms, and as mentioned earlier, a huge vent across the back along the top of the bottom color stripe. its covered by a flap so its kinda hidden.

all in all seems to be super high quality

this work for anyone? if so can someone host the image or something, i really want to see how my syrup pants will look. + k

Gettin happy in the saga! model 6 foot 220 and its just 3 inches above my knees. cant imagine anyone under 6'1 thats normal sized wearing this

got my XL King Cobra and XL Darkness pant today im 6 3 its sooo nice the colors are amaazing on it i like it alot better than in the original pictures

I got my order today xl lobster jkt and xl smoke pants. I'm 5' 10 and it fits exactly how i envisioned except they sent the smoke vest instead of the smoke pants, looks like i got some emailin to do.

why would you call. the reason they arent answering is because they are busy getting out orders to those of us who were smart enough to order properly the first time. its incredibly inconsiderate to now put THEM through the hassle of trying to change your order, in the chaos of shipping, simply because you rushed your decision the first time around.

every picture posted in the FD thread makes me more glad that i chose saga.
just ordered my large lobster jacket couple days ago no shipping confirmation yet though. any orders shipped to Canada yet?

Tested out the new blastoff jacket today. This thing is BURLY to say the least. It didn't get wet at all, and it was 40 degrees with 2 day old heavy wet pow. It's nice and roomy so no restriction for an XL on someone 6 foot (just tighten the straps around the bottom so it doesn't look like a tent). I really dig the shorter sleeves compared to last year's model, never got in the way over my hands. Overall, 100% satisfied...

I agree, fuck all these kids trying to change their shit last moment. Why are they so retarded that they can't order correctly the first time, I mean how hard is it?

Measure it out? My jacket fit exactly as i expected, because i measured it out. Regardless saga is a business, they cant just be expected to make order changes willy-nilly.

thank goodness they made shorter sleeves haha. my old medium fit really weird cause the sleeves were so long compared to body length for me.

that syrup jacket posted looks dark as hell compared to the pic saga posted. Anyone care to share a pic of XL syrup pants because I'm pretty sure they've shipped some.

its the same purple as the sleeves of the tim d. look up like 10 ish posts for pics.

my blastoff jacket is gonna get some serious weather testing tomorrow. hiking in about 10 degrees and blowing snow, well see how it performs.

I'm assuming the rest of the shit should be this coming week and will likely ship out next week and the week after.

i suppose they put a size chart up on the website for no reason....

i suppose the search bar doesnt work either, and looking at photos of last years saga would be stupid cause they're a WHOLE HALF INCH difference in size.

actually being a business means you satisfy your customers, and as far as i have seen saga has been very good to me in that way the last couple years. as long as your shit hasnt been shipped, you should be able to change your order. just send them an email, and if they can do it, they will.

The jackets are looking so sweet in person, bit bummed about my Darkside jacket choice now, lol! Good news, my order has left the states and is en route for Scotland :D

who cares... one reason I got saga is becuase they're only shells. That way you can wear them all season long. No one wants to wear an insulated jacket when it's 50 degrees out, and I hate wearing hoodies and shit because they just get wet. nice try tho ;)

okay, i guess its preference.. i had saga last year, had a great time with it, but you defiantly need to gear up on those cold days.. Even then, its still cold
