The 2010-11 Saga Thread

well heres what you do. get a yard stick, measure 38 inches from just below your neck and you will probably realize it will go past your knees. if you want to own a jacket that large go ahead. I'm 6'4" and got that exact jacket. also consider you probably will feel like a fool wearing anywear other than skiing
 
Even though this thread is more of a "I got this colour" thread since it hasn't shipped yet, I have a question and I don't want to make another saga thread.
Anyone know when/if the denim and flannels will drop? And what the fall line will be like? And who knows, maybe someone even has an idea on pricing?

i hope the purpe is a lil more purple ish like darker and if thats the hybrid color for the blue part thats sickkkkkkkk
 
the actual blue is closer to a lighter/brighter blue like the hybrid and less royal. i like the looks of this but the actual colorway is a touch better.

^and ben, you will not be disapointed
 
is the purple more purpley too? i dont really care, regardless seeing a real pic just made me more stoked to get mine. as long as its not a dress on me
 
yeah all the colors like the purple are a little more pure. not brighter like neon but a little more vivid. the cottoncandy boardshorts represent the same colors pretty close.

the fit is near prefection in my opinion. if you are 6ft or taller the xl looks like it is custom tall fitted gear. It is slimmed out and not wide/fat/boxy at all

Just checking in with everyone. We plan to have complete updates on all outerwear next month. I think we are honestly more excited for you all to see, feel and wear this seasons line than you all are... hard to say.

for someone that hates on all the outerwear and gear talk you sure spend alot of time in these type of threads...

 
I'm not allowed to comment on a graphic that is closer to a shirt design then to the outerwear? news to me, not to mention seeing as ive owned 2 ful saga suits in the past, pretty sure i can comment all I want, not to mention, this is a free country
 
Ok Im 5'10 and about 140lbs and I want to get new saga pants and jacket...the xl sounds a bit large but ive never owned saga before so i need someones opinion on the fitting. Thanks
 
hes not saying you have no right to say what you said, hes saying you spend a lot of time in gear talk considering all you do is hate and be negative.
 
good thing this touches your tshirt. why not have it be steezy, its not like you are getting charged extra for it? and last time i checked, right now my shirt is my outerwear.
 
can anyone explain to me why the tim d blastoff jacket is almost a faded purple and the syrup pants are super bright and vibrant? i really want the tim d with goldcoast pants, or the goldcoast jacket with hybrid too pants. but what's up with the colors on the tim d jacket? is that just the lighting? or what?
 
probably just the lighting, i can almost guarantee they use the same exact fabric for things of the same color, for example, the BlastOff jacket's shoulders and Syrup pants. also, the liner is looking sick, i will be proud to wear that open-coat.

im 5'11..... in the pic with the vest i am wearing the old xl which measures out close to what the L is now... i got the xl last year and had to send it back, it was bellow my knees. last years was a 39" zipper this year its 38.5"
i went with large
