The 2010-11 Saga Thread

searched around a little but i didnt find anything. whats up with the vests? do they have zip off sleeves or are they just vests? or do the jackets have zip off sleeves?

i was a little confused since in the original sneak peak pics they showed the vest with zip off sleeves, but nothing about that was listed in the actual stuff.

ya. if you don't get XL then I don't know what you're thinking. it will look perfect on you, just the right amount of thug

but wont i look like a gaper with such tight gear? i mean the XL is tiny!! haha nah but really what size?

go large, i'm 5'6" and had medium 2010 saga and it definitely was a little small, i know you're a little smaller than me but i still think you should go large, especially because you'll grow before ski season.

Okay so I'm 5' 10" and I'm planning on ordering a L Blast Off/Gold Coast suit. We'll see. I've got to weigh my options. But Saga seems to be the least expensive 3L suit money can buy.

Exactly. I would definitely be ordering Trew if it were a lot less expensive. They have excellent customer service, a lifetime warranty, I could drive down the street to pick some up at my local shop, it's all super tech, and their company culture is tight. But their prices are simply out of my range. Whereas Saga has a pretty cool company culture, but isn't available in shops, has iffy at best customer service, no lifetime warranty, and it's their first year of 3L. It's a difficult tradeoff to swallow almost.

theyre no bigger than any other jacket, go measure your old jacket and use that as reference. if its coming down to a 3 inch or 4 inch neck, and that is the deciding factor between xl being too big, then you should probably get l. i mean how tall are you?

Spokane Alpine Haus on the South Hill. I believe they were one of like four shops nationwide to stock Trew in it's first year. I'd happily give them my monies if they took a couple hundred off of MSRP. haha

an xl will probably be very big on you, knees at least, but if you really want it that baggy you can probably pull it off, just be ready for something huge

cange im about to order THIS

Im about to order this, hows it look?

or this is my dilemma:

So can anyone check to see if their credit card has been billed yet?

I placed my jacket order yesterday and received the confirmation email but still haven't been billed for it.

I'm just wondering if this is normal or if there is something up with my purchase.

i dont think they bill until the stuff arrives at their place. thats usually how preorders work

maybe you should experience their customer service for yourself and not go by what 10 customers out of thousands complain about online.

that would be sick, i have blue first drop pants so i dont think i want to get hybrid, im liking red or grey but idk how it would look with the blue lettering. keep the help coming

some people disagree, but honestly i say its about as warm as 1 or 2 long sleeved shirts. it just blocks a little wind which makes it seem warmer. 100% a shell.
