The 2010-11 Saga Thread

still no. i think they were maybe expecting another shipment this week. i hope everybody are Jehova's Witnesses, because I dont care if its thanksgiving, i want my saga.
 
well heres a question.

my friend got a saga xl jacket and (if it was sold out on their site after he got it)and he didnt like it and sent it back wouldnt it mean there is the chance they will say that theres 1 left or just give it to a pro. the thing i tried to explain to the guys above me is if someone sent the jacket back than for one lucky dude he will have the chance to get it. am i right on this or will they just give it to a pro or giveaway
 
I'm 5'8", what would be the right size for me? I'm not totally into the whole tall tee by your knees thing, but i would like it to be a bit baggy and below the waist. I've done some measuring of my jackets i already have an seem to think that the medium will fit me well, but i cant quite decide.

King cobra is sooooo dope.
 
Large, will look great on you, might be a little long, but short enough to send the message across that you're disinterested in tall tees
 
I'd get large, it will be baggy, but not rediculous. medium would be really really small on you. And if you grow even an inch, it will be too small.
 
I returned it, the fit was really strange, it was like a box... It looks good in the pic but that was just a fluke. Like how all the other pics look bad and people say the stuff looks good in real life. Pics don't showcase the fit for some reason.
 
right well ill think about getting large then. theres only so much imaginary measuring you can get with tape and then you just have to go for it. Saga is quite long in the body anyway - my north face jacket is very much a traditional fit, so should i think of saga as a normal fit in terms of sleeves etc, and then an extra 4" on the bottom? It seems that way from looking at the inside, and there being quite a lot of material beneath the powder skirt.

it looks identical to the stock pics on their website.. how did people not understand that? everyone knew it looked boxy when they bought it(maybe not conciously), they just didnt realize it would look that bad in person

I'm 5'10" and im thinking about getting an XL... will that be ridiculous on me?

I got an XL first drop last year and the zipper length is like 36 or something and I like how it fits

if you were a regular human being you would know how to measure length.

youre absolutely right, because a picture is nowhere close to accurate in giving a proper idea about how something should fit, because the zipper length is the only important factor in the way the jacket is going to fit... i mean this year's fd or the jiberish microknits arent examples of this at all.....

a measurement can only tell you so much

dude humans are alot more unique than you think. there are many different kinds of body's. an xl might be way past the knees for someone else my height
 
Well I guess our saga are very near to each other cause mine has salso been at the ISC Chicago IL (USPS) seens the 20th. It sucks it has been sitting there for the last 4 days..
 
Yeah could you post pictures?

I'm debating about getting XL or just L and I don't wanna screw it up. I know my first drop is around 37" long and I like the way it fits on my 5'10" self, but I don't know how saga fits (shorter/longer). Their XL is 38.5 and the L is 34, and thats a big gap so I don't know what to get.
 
I ordered my suit (L lobster jacket, L smoke & mirrors pant) and my vest (L smoke & mirror) separately. My vest just came about 5 minutes ago. hopefully they start shipping the rest of the larges soon.
 
as of right now you have 121 total posts on your account, and im guessing the majority of them are in THIS THREAD, so don't try that bullshit. you've also PM'd me and probably countless other people asking about trades. it's beyond annoying at this point, everyone is just plain sick of it.

im tempted to start a "dont trade your Saga with jkauffman22 under any circumstances" thread...
 
that is a blatant lie. you posted the same thing twice on the previous page and if anyone cares to sift through all the previous pages they will quickly find that you've posted A LOT in this thread whether it's constructive or about your search for a Darkside. there is a reason i called you out for this...i did a couple weeks ago too
