The 2010-11 Saga Thread

Damn it.. been looking for a jacket all winter and ive always had the darkside saga as an option if i cant find any sicker. Ive checked like every website out there for a jacket and today i gave up and was about to order a darkside xl and I cant order it cause its sold out.....

Cant get why I didnt order earlier, great price and a sick jacket.

I feel like an idiot haha
 
partridge wearing some never before seen saga at denver big air right now.... maybe next years but maybe just his own custom jacket too. looks sick!
 
question.... i want a hoodie for into like May. Are the hoodies that are in at the moment to heavy for like 4 degrees out or will they work fine. Also any estimate when they will resease the spring set because I need a new hoodie ASAP.
 
idk, most of them are in good condition, i won't be selling all of them, cuz i love them too much. oh and i bought them all by myself, im 14
 
That looks exactly like gate burn (used to happen to all of my jackets when I raced). Its most likely not a saga quality problem but rather just general wear and tear (when you fell on the box the friction would have caused it). Hit your bumper on a curb, it gets scratched, not a manufacture error.
 
I think your wrong, all the brands ive used in the past never got that many holes after months of use, & i fell alot more when i 1st started than i do now, this was only used for 5 days and only 1.5 in the park, most people that buy saga ski park and every 1 falls i think its a fucking joke to be in that state after such little use, the orage baldwin i sold to help towards the £320 for this crap looked brand new, not 1 hole after a season! should of kept it!

But thanks for inlighting me about cars and bumpers???
 
your suit has holes for one of three reasons:

1. you crashed on a rail and/or ice and the friction caused a hole to rub in it. that's user error.

2. you hit your ankles with the inside edges of your skis while you're skiing. that's because you're a weak skier. also user error.

3. you treat your gear like shit and some how managed to destroy it in a short amount of time. again, user error.

do you see a pattern here? don't expect Saga to refund your money or give you a new suit. warranties don'y exists in the ski industry anymore. they really don't care about your business because guess what? there will be some kid next year that's more than willing to take your place and purchase a new suit directly from them like you did.
 
In defence of the Op, I've probably done the three things you listed many times before (bar the manage to destroy it part) and yet my gear is hole free. I'd like to think my gear is gunna stay together when I use it, user error seems like a fairly common reason for damage imo...

Despite whether he's a crap skier or not it still shows how crap the quality of Saga stuff is for the price your paying. I'm not arguing for or against companies like Saga to refund his money, just saying that this proves how bad the quality is.

I apologise if this makes no sense, I'm terrible at online discussions.
 
people like you on this site are funny, read what i 1st put with the photos before you start mouthing off, when did i say i wanted a refund or mention warrantie?

Out of your 3 reasons its the 1st why its full of holes, all my point was, is they should use a better quality material as there stuff looks so good but wears badly, its not the 1st time i have fell on a box but it is the 1st time i fell on a box in a brand new suit to stand up and its full of holes, if you hit some thing 5 times plus (repeat wear on 1 spot) & keep falling its gona happen but once?! its never happened before and i have had a few brands & some were cheaper than saga, i bought this suit to ski the hole mountain cant see it being much good on a powder day in a months time at this rate, its thin as fuck, say what you want im over it, saga aint worth a rub i know that now just a pricey leason to learn.

Also reson 3 was just plain dumb, your talking shit, people work hard for there cash why would any 1 buy a suit and "treat it like shit"? & how can the way i treat it effect the way it with stands falls no 1 falls on purpose mate?
 
they do preorder in the summer..which is why people were bitchin before cuz they ordered their stuff in june and in december they finally got it
 
i think most people expect too much out of their gear. you paid for a 400 dollar suit. the quality is a solid amount better than one should expect for that price. hell, looking through the sbc skier softgoods guide, i spied many 400+ dollar jackets. and some of you are bitching about saga being low quality and too expensive.
 
Have you felt the fabric of last years Saga and this years Saga? This years is WAY more durable. It doesn't matter how cheap or how expensive your suit is, it will eventually get holes in it. Just sow them up, no big deal. If you didn't know Saga was only a shell when buying it you are dumb, shells are supposed to insulated. If you want a insulated suit, buy First Drop, but then again you are getting a shittier suit for the same price. Also, for 3L 20/20k, $400 is dirt cheap for a full suit. So stop your bitching, treat your gear better and it will last longer for you.

So i orderd the ghost one since the darkside was out. How long can I expect to wait for it to get to sweden?

I orderd on wednesday and they haven shipped it yet. How long did it took for you guys before they shipped?

Not complaining just wondering.

I will stop my bitching when ive had enough not when you tell me to, No ive not felt last years & i couldnt give a monkeys what it fills like im talking about this years, & its not 3L 20/20K if its full of fucking holes is it! all i can do is repeat my self for you in a simpler form because your ever super dumb or not listening, from my 1st hand experience i have used many brands some cheaper than saga & fell many times on box's, rail's, ice, dry slopes, & indoor snow domes as i was learning & never had a fuck off hole in the elebow like i have now in my saga after 5 days use of which only just over 1 day was in the park.

Stop riding saga's dick and except that for me the FACT of the mater is:

other brands + a shit load of falls = no holes

saga + 1 fall = a shit load of holes.

Also I couldn't treat my my gear any better if i tried i dry it after evey use, wash it correctly and hang it up when im not using it, all im doing is skiing in it, thats what i bought it for. every 1 falls and ive never had a suit do this at all never mind after such a short period of time.
 
i think you probably got fatter and now this created more friction when you fell. My saga has rubbed the inside of dozens of rails and i have barely any burn.
