That really makes me mad when people totally diss other's for doing insane, unbelieveable spins like that because they say it isn't stylie. I've never seen an 1800 on snow, but one of my buddies was doing cork 1800s on the water ramps and sticking them last summer. It was cool that he could do it, but its too much spinning. He was just a big blur, we had to slow down the video just to see how much he was spinning.

nobody said the 1800 had style. Fact is that none of us have done it except that guy because we'd shit ourselves before dropping in and then we would die trying it. And his style was within the parameters at that time to score well, except for the weak landing. Good height, distance, balance, control... def no style points by today's standards though.

the scheer monstrousity that is the idea of an 1800 should outweigh how "cool" something looks... for something such as that, personal opinion doesn't mean shit... if someone does a 1800, it's not for style points or recognition (of something being attractive), it's because that rotation is fucking ballsy and ridiculous to witness.

but the point is an 1800 is rediculous no matter how its thrown. a 360 will always be a 360, its a basic spin. its like the first spin you learn to do. sure the 1800 is hucked completely but whos saying the 360 that is thrown is stylie? during the season you can watch shitty 3's thrown all day but i know i've never seen anything close to an 1800, even super hucked, in real life.
