i'm surprised by all of the love thats it thats all has garnered on this site. its not really an NS type of movie. yet, i haven't read one bad thing about it on here. i'm curious did anyone on hear not like it or think it was the greatest flick ever? or is it more broken down between leve 1 fans and msp fans?

I don't get how you could hate it. If you did dislike it then you are obviously a retard.

it must be past my bed time because i had to re read the title and post like 4 times to figure out what you were saying ha ha

Everything about that movie was great. There was epic shots from all over, amazing tricks and cinematography, ripping with friends and a general happy vibe.. I don't know why people would dislike it.

Epic movie and amazing cinematography uncomparable to any action sports flick Ive seen.

The only thing it could have used was a little urban to make it perfectly well rounded but then again it was just fine without it.

i somehwhat i agree with the guy....of course it had rediculous filming, banger tricks, but all in all the sitting and watching the whole movie with a bunch of friends we seemed to all lose interest and that has never happened to me when watching a ski/snowboard movie...it just didnt flow together..it was too cut up with long non snowboarding scenes...but thats just my opinion

a big part of it was supposed to be getting this different shots that u never see in a regular movie, but it really killed the flow. i like more diversity to my movies

it was more a planet earth movie that had snowboarding in it. still good though.

i watched both claim and thats it... with three of my buddies who snowboard, they like thats it better and i like claim better.

i think that it was funny that they had a helicopter fallow the main hellicopter so they could get all the shots of them flying.

all you liberals should be pissed cuz that makes their carbon footprint that much bigger

travis rice is different than pretty much everyone else on a snowboard or skis, there is something in his brain that just doesn't see obsticles like normal pros do. it's super interesting to see people who their sport just clicks with them on another level. i feel like i could compare him to michael schumacker in f1 racing, labron and kobe, tiger woods. it raises the question of nature or nurture, were they all born with the innate ability to do what they are doing right now or would tiger woods (had he been born 5-6 years later) have been doing double corks and gigantic shiftys off a 140 foot gap that steps down a solid 50-60 feet if he picked up a snowboard instead of a golf club?

anybody else a psychology major who smokes alot of weed?

It's probably getting overhyped on NS, but it's certainly a good movie. Everything is in the backcountry and a lot of the jumps are natural windlips instead of built kickers. It is very well-filmed and well-produced. I don't know if it's my favorite movie ever, but it's definitely worth watching.

This movie blew my mind, probably the best on snow movie i have ever seen. I would love to see a ski company with this kind of budget, the cinemetography is truly amazing. And there are so many unique natural features.

Oh and there are tree tap 7's that straight kill it.

my point is thats it thats all doesn't have much repeat-viewability. yea its epic and amazing. but how many times have you watched it compared to vids that you watched like 10 times the first week you owned them?

just watched it... and not so impressed... its good, but its nothing super special for me... and its snowboard movie and i am skier:o)))

That was pretty much the best movie I've seen this season. It easily put The Massive to shame, put Claim to shame (don't know what you're on if you think that Claim was better), and is likely better than all the ski movies ever made. It left me stoked, jaw-dropped, and even more stoked. I don't snowboard at all, and I find this movie to be that good.
If you haven't seen it, I recommend seeing it.

that movie was so wack...sliding on a board on your tummy? what kinda stupid shit was that!? plus all the airs they do..wack! its called snowboarding for a reason fools...keep the board ON THE SNOW not in the air! plus they hurt trees a lot...not nature friendly at all

All of the riding, and tricks and features were amazing, great cinematography, better than any ski movie ive seen before. I didnt really like the soundtrack but thats just personal preference. It was TRavis' movie so why not put in music he likes. other than that it was sick, awesome job

I still havent seen it but my friend was going to buy it tonight an tomorrow is a day off so we're havin a massive longboarding-then-ski-movie-day. Needless to say it looks crazy sick

the best way to portray snow sports imo. it did such a good job of capturing all i feel towards the sport even though it's not my sport.
