imo this sale is dumb for three reasons. 1. no one is going to buy all these. 2. he could possibly make what he is asking by selling individually but by no means is he going to get his asking price for the lot. 3. thieving trend whores could easily show up for the home pickup and rob him at gunpoint. just my $0.02

He clearly states that exceptions can be made to countries, as he and his wife want to go on vacation out of the country, and saying "that ship has sailed" means they most likely have already been to both Malaysia and Singapore and will not be going again.

Nah, sunglasses are good investments - i think much better than shit like shoes, they last forever. I rock glasses my dad wore years and years ago in the 70's
Plus you wear them all the time.
 
JK, the 3D ones are on his list... just didnt see them in any of the photos.. and figured since they are probably the rarest he'd post a pic of them.
 
the rainbow ones are ill as shit. I would take the yellow ones and the green ones. Simple, yet bold.
 
lol nope. the only reason to buy expensive sunglasses other than oakleys would be for that reason. Oakley puts soo much time and effort and technology into each of their glasses. your getting the clearest sight and most protection (whether its from the UV rays or from physical objects and debris) that most any glass has to offer right now. Not to mention a great selection of styles to fit the activity, and more lense for different lighting conditions per frame then most companies.

I have two pair, they're more than worth the price if you take care of them
 
I could spend 38 grand on trendy sunglasses, OR I could... buy a car? fix my house? take a big vacation? donate to charity? spend on hookers?

 
Im trying to figure out who he thinks would buy a 38k collection of sunglasses right now. Unless Trump is looking for something more adventurous for his day to day I can't see anyone buying these.
 
P Diddy, Some dude who just won the lottery, the keyboard player from Letterman, or Barry Bonds. Only people I could think of that could/would use/afford this collection
 
i bet he works for oakley, i bet he paid for them all, but theres noway he would know of everypair that came out, especially the Super rare ones like 1 of 20 and 1 of 6.
 
i have a pair of gascans and i just threw down 140 for a pair of VZ kickstands (polar) and it was such a good investment. even if the gas cans were polarized i would take the VZ's. i think its all just preference. i mean for some sunglasses oakley makes, yea your paying for the technology and stuff like that but for just sunglasses to wear from them, i feel like your paying for the brand
