it is their main source of income. Im not even clsoe to being pro, but getting hurt and not being able to ski again would really suck, I think more so for a pro than anybody else. the risk would simply be more than the reward. The reward is getting a sick rail and some good footage. even if they dont do that rail, they ae still pros and no one thinks less of them. The risk is high for injury and they risk being out for comps, other photo shoots, etc. For a guy that works in a parking lot, greasing the rail would prob get his name out there, especially if there is good footage and her gets in a movie or magazine. If he gets hurt, he doesn't sacrifice all the money and everything else. thats just what I think, even though i have absolutely no idea how the pros or the parking lot guys think. maybe i should just shut up.
