That was lame, But Refreshing at Least....

The only thing good about last night big air was Jon's last hit, that flat-5 nose/japan was soooo steezzy. Next year they should have a contest with special limitations, nothing bigger than a 360 can be done, all tricks must have grabs, idunno, mix it up.

Maybe have a two jump format again with the first jump being weighted 80% difficulty 20% style and the second jump weighted 20% difficulty 80% style...

That way competitors get to throw really burly stuff and really stylie stuff. Also it means that the same jump can't be thrown in both runs...

jons last hit was sweet, so stylie, but how long is he gonna keep doing the kang flip, getting pretty played now,

the 80 20 idea seems good, with 10 competitors. I cant see the future of big air being this shit with 4 competitors, it doesnt work

that 80/20 idea is good, but how could you go about deciding what tricks fall under which category? And Def. have more competitors, that was so gay. They should run it like all the other events

like a JOI in the X-Games with 15 competitors i think thats gay

2 jumps thats good and make the second jump HUUGGGEEE!!

i wish they had a bigger jump so jon could have thrown a hexo flip- that shit would be off the chizain

Nothing more than a 360? I think that'd be lame. Might as well see who has the steeziest straight air.

And you say that every jump must include a grab, but that is pretty much a requirement anyways.

I like the 80%/20% idea though

The second jump you can throw a double still if you think it is your most stylie trick however you just will only get 20% of the mark for it being super technical and 80% on how ace it looked (and not slowed down slo-mo like he held the grab for 2 rotations!!) Hopefully with this format you would see switch zero double nose grabs, shify tricks, etc basically stuff that we see in the videos but that never would win a contest in its normal format.

they need GOOD judges (not mike douglas and the clueless public... OMG HE DID A FLIPPER!)

and they need jon's rule of no trick to be done twice.

they should also just do a 1 trick-off with another bracket, so there will be 8 people.
