Pete had a great run, but not as good as Tanners.

the judging was fucked up he didnt deserve that 94 even the announcers implied that. he should have got 3rd. jon ollsons run was fuckin sick his second one was cruddy but he should have atleast got 3rd. olenick really deserved first tanner hall aint shit

if you consider every aspect of everyone run, tanner was mopre technical on rails tehn everyone else wich mean a lot in judginga slopestyle run cause a rail can fuck you up big time if you fall.

I think (and have already posted in the million other X-games threads that are up right now, jesus) that Olenick shoulda won. His run was the smoothest of them all, and he went bigger on the last jump, tanner just did a 7. Ollson was close too....he coulda gotten second and tanner 3rd.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

yea it was bullshit again jon's 1st run should have been the winner run, it was perfect. tanners was good but i think he should have got 2nd. olenick's run was kinda slopy he missed a few grabs.

Pep was a judge yes, but he was one of a few so he could have judged fairly but if all the others voted higher or lower then him, then his almost gets cancelled otu

id say that jon or pete definately represented better than tanner but i couldnt pick between the two, they were both sick

tanner did a NOSE PRESS on the stairilizer. that sealed the victory. plus, he did a different grab with every trick. he showed his steez on the first rail and tech with the 450 on and NOSE PRESS (so sick, watch it again). I liked his switch 7 off the money booter... he didn't want to suck by hucking, and everything was mad clean and fast.

the judging was the best that i've seen in a while. olenick was sick, and it's too bad there was only a bronze left for Jon...

Snomaster's got a point. Tanner was CLEAN, cleaner than anyone else out there today. I'm not a big Tanner fan (go CR!) but he was the only rider to really pull off anything close to a 100% clean run. His landings were all smooth, tricks done with precision and run had fluidity and what Tanner seems to think is style. I didn't agree with the judges either - gorilla is a joke not a style - but then again, that's probably why I'm not a judge...

give some frickin' credit to Olenick.....I dunno about if he should have won, but he killed everyone else in the comp besides tanner and jon....tanner and jon are like legends in the freeskiing world and peter placed in between them....how does that not warrant credit?

i believe everyone on this thread gave credit to olenick, as did the judges, who gave him an X games silver. this event is the biggest of the year, pete just got himself an auto invite to the next year's x and a bit to sit on while he collects more from endorsments.

Personally I liked Jon's run the most, his landings were just so clean. And Henriks first run in the finals was so good.
