i went to the mall the other day, and was looking for some t-shirts. i go into some store, i forget which one, but EVERY FUCKING SHIRT had something about snowboarding on it. there was one that just said 'chicks like tricks' and i was gonna get it, but then on the back it said '...snowboard camp'.

They should show movies about skiers plowing into snowboaders that are camped out in the middle of the run just under the crest of the hill where you can't see them until it's too late. Does that happen often at your slopes or is it just around Michigan?? Last year we actually left the hill after an hour or two one day cause they where so bad about it. Just for the record, I'm not a boarder hater I just wish some of the young ones would GET OUT OF THE &%#&ing WAY.

 
im a board hater, not a boarder hater. IO hate the equipment, not really the people, even though there's a much higher ratio of dickheads to chill people than there is in skiing.

there are so many shirts because snowboarding is trendy. be grateful it's not skiing. i would be worried if all of the shirts had skiing/ski related phrases on them. trends create posers who can't do shit out on the hill.

i almost killed a snowboarder a few years ago because he was sitting on the landing of a 40 footer. i pulled my skis up and cleared his shoulders by about 6 inchs

Funny you mention that, mammothpunks. I may have killed this one snowboarder, or he may be in a coma.

I was hauling ass down into the park to hit this jump that was about a 40 foot kicker also, right before I went off it I asked the people on the chair if it was cleared. They said yes. So I went. As I came around to the landing some dumbass snowboarder was just sitting there chilling on the blind landing of the jump. I tried to throw myself in air to avoid him but there wasn't much I could do.

He just sat there on his fat ass looking at me as I came down on top of him, with my skis.

my skis sliced his face, probably broke his shoulder, arm and it knocked him out.

He just layed there.

He was definitely hurt, but I flew forward and rolled about 10 times and broke my wrist in the process. I got up to my feet got ski patrol for his bitch ass and then skiied the rest of the day with a broken wrist - not really realizing it.

 
some of you are acting as if you didn't know that snowboarding is popular in the general public and skiing isn't. bitching about this is just as pointless as bitching about pop music and the rest of pop culture.

yeah dude i know which shirt you are talking aboput, its the brown one at American Eagle. Its a pretty nice shirt but i would never wear it cause it had a snowboarder on it, its so gay how all these fucking companies think snoboarding is still in and is cool, when the reality is they are fucking retards and skiing is where its at.

What the hell were they doing with a car on the moon?... havent they gone far enough?

i love running into boarders at the top when they get off the lift and have to put their other fucking foot in. i give no props to them, one blew my knee out last year when i stopped to help some girl that fell and he ate so bad that he couldn't stop and ran right into the side of my leg while it was still in the bindings.

wow, where do most of you guys ski at? are there still places out there where the skiers and snowboarders hate eachother? like seriously - the only times i know where skiers get dised is the odd time in magazines as a joke... hell, boardpass.com has a game where you throw snowballs at skiers - but that's funny shit. can't you just accept that fact that to the average dude walking threw the mall thinks snowboarding is cooler than skiing?

and another question - why the hell were you guys in american eagle? that store sucks, i hate walking by it even. do you guys shop at the gap too?

deffinitely 9/10 ppl would rather snowboard then ski so of coarse most, if not all articles of a snow sport clothing r going to have to do with boarding. meh.... id like to see more ski stuff but i like being the only one in my japy (as in jewish american princess, not japanese) school to be wearing skiing clothing

I used to style a shirt that said Snowboarding sucks...All sorts of mall rat punk poser fucks on snowboards would threaten to kick my ass. Which was entertaining as hell considering they were 12 and half my size. Most of the real snowboarders I know thought it was funny and even used to tell the wanna be's to shut their mouths. I think I am gonna make a sticker thats said FUCK YOU AND THE SNOWBOARD YOU SIT ON

Man, I don't know where you're looking but there are shit loads of tshirts out there with skiing on them. They just may not be the 'trendy' label brands.

I have one which on the back it has some fella hucking off a cliff doing a back with his skis x'd up.. and on the front of the shirt it has the same photo only its just the skier, no background.
