Tax season... Just treated myself to a Saga Syrup and a couple new Bauer Vapor xxx lite hockey sticks. Anybody else get themselves something nice for this wonderful time of year?

and my buddy just decided to pick up skiing and went right for it. He went once this year decided he loved it and just picked up FT classics and volkl walls with px12's. Dude is super stoked (I would be setup is dope lol). It's fun to see someone getting their first dope setup like that and just fired up about skiing in general isn't it?

Go away rain. That is all.

pretty stoked for your friend! that's awesome to hear. I haven't finished my taxes yet. last year i owed like 700 bucks which is retarded. hopefully i can get something back this year and maybe spend it on spring break in vegas or something!

so glad i didn't owe money, Ive been mad broke its nice to have some extra income coming in. good luck man.

Got mine back last week, had to put all new brakes on my jeep and I'm about to put the rest on a down payment for a super moto bike. Soo stoked can't wait to rip it

I will be purchasing a snowboard with my tax return. And probably some brakes and rotors for my truck. And beer......lots of beer.

$2,200 return for me. It's going towards the cost of a new roof for the house.

Ahh, the joys of responsibility.

idk what mine is going towards, havent decided!

probably a canon 1d classic and a vagabond mini, and the cost of repairs for my b800

Haha, amen to that. Although I'll take home improvement expenses anyday over pissing away $10,000+ on rent each year.

depends where youre living. I inherited my grandpa's place and its a really nice house but the location keeps me at least an hour from the local mountain and that mountain isnt teriffic anyway. If my house were say any mountain town anywhere i would agree. Im just pissy because i used to live on a mountain and now Im kind of here out of neccesity to the property and putting my skiing career on hold which sucks because thats what i went to school for haha.

oh well at least its my own place with room for the dog. not so bad. its looking like PC or colorado next winter though . fingers crossed.

and yeah, fuck rent. haha

I know right! Hit this kid up on Craigslist selling me two pro stocks for 75. Sickest deal ever couldn't believe it. Quality find.

I think I'll be purchasing an engagement ring with mine. i suppose i probably better get that taken care of since we're approaching 6 years together, we're both done with school, and have purchased a home together. although I'd rather blow it on toys!!

Will probably owe $350... didnt pay taxes on earnings, but had to claim them due to student loans.... I know I could have just said I didnt make anything this summer, but i hate it when people cheat taxes and expect the government to pay for shit, so i aint gonna be that guy.

Taking my money to pay off my credit card then investing the rest of it.

After that I'll be debt free with the exception of my students loans. I then plan to buy wheels for my car before May and skis/boots/bindings for next year.

will roof for nugswe have extra taken out get back 15k or so every year

pay for next years bc hut trip and put the rest back into the casa.

I think I'm going to have extra pulled from each paycheck. Some people will say that you're just letting Uncle Sam use the money interest-free and that you could invest it, but lets be real, that money will be blown and spent on petty bullshit each week. Come tax-return time, it's nice to get that big chunk of savings given to you to do something big with, be it buying yourself something nice, or something essential.

I do exactly this for the same reason. However If you take it a step farther and pretend you DO actually save that money weekly and invest it, the return on a grand or two in a years times is just a few measly bucks. I prefer paying in money every check and getting it back in a big chunk for this very reason.
