for making jumps that help prgressing the sport and being the only one to have a real videoblog that is actualy updated on a daily basis.

I may not be a fan of the doubles stuff and the weird ass names but geez, he's doing somethign by himself that many companies failed to do in the pas.

Videoblog is doing a great job of keeping everyone updated by means of video rather than words.

The best thing is that the videoblog has actually achieved what it was intended to..

It doesn't come across as a marketing stunt for Jon (Which obviously it is to a point), definitely a great source of information which heaps of kids are relying on to see what goes down in the industry! Training for X etc
 
You just had to include in you're "thank you" thread that you don't like doubles...afraid that you're core thug steeze rep might be tarnished for liking Jon eh?

I'd like to thank you Jon for EVERYTHING you have done for freeskiing over the years, including the JOI and the videoblog, without throwing in any jabs.
 
What Jon and Simon are doing with the North American Open is amazing - I hope they can get involved with the other 2 stops as well.
 
I have never really liked Jon because one of his statments in a freeskier magazine... "Urban is for people who cant afford skiing"... because i think that urban is creative and so called "new school" but i really do enjoy how he ACTUALLY updates his blogs all the time, its a real good way to know whats going on
 
i love jons video blogs. i have watch every single one that was been on NS and some on the website. keep up the good work.
 
YES. I was waiting for a thread like this. Jon really does deserve crazy props from EVERYBODY for what he is doing. Almost all of his video blogs are on youtube. One day I watched like all of 'em in a row. They're all really sick and interesting too. THANKYOU Jon!! keep doing what you're doing.

Anyway jon is progressing the sport and I would be an hypocrit to say I love everything he did, I,m not a fan of double flips. He done way more for the sport then just doubles and I think WE all owe him a lot for everything he did.

 
His videoblog has opened a new chapter in action sports media. I haven't really heard of or seen anything like this in any discipline. So current, so dope.

Word I was just thinking about this the other day. That little extra bit of effort for him to update his blogs and let us know what's going on is awesome.
 
the video blog really is amazing and is helping me get so much more pumped for events like xgames and shit, getting a personal window into the workings of the comps is awesome.

thats another cool thing is that he is actually saying what he thinks, and not pandering to sponsors or anything, no bs. I like it.
 
jon's videoblog is why i keep checking youtube so often. and yes only on ns can people switch from "double's are turning skiing into aerials" to "jon fucking kills it", but whatev. jon is the greatest pro for skiing and good ambassador for skiing worldwide.

i hope the nimbus independent videoblogs are just as good, which i'm sure they will be.
 
i think some crazy bios would look sick on skis and i really havent seen anyone tweak it to its full potential. it would be sick to see some more of those in skiing. for example, my friend tweaks his bio 10s past 90 degrees and it would be insane to see on skis.
 
well said ced, i totally agree. i'm not real stoked on the fact that you basically have to have a double to do really well at big comps (so it seems), but it is totally original and jon is doin a damn good job with basically everything he gets involved in.
 
he should do more cliffs and heli ski because he can afford it and I cant and I would murder someone for a ride in a heli
