Thanks from the Jibyard!!!!!

Hey NSers...
I have been through a lot of shit, and I have not been on NS for quit some time. I have not said a word since I shut down the Jibyard after the Dew Tour Party last winter, and it is still very hard for me to talk about it. I have always loved the NS spirit, and I wish that everyone on this earth lived their lives with the same passion and intensity that you all represent. Its sad that people loose that passion as they age, and I challenge you all to do everything you can to hold onto it.
When I started the Evolution Tour several years ago, I wanted to play a part in contributing to the progressive nature of the NS spirit. The years that I spent traveling across the country with my buddies hosting rail jams and getting to know a lot of you will never be forgotten. I had so many good times jibbing and just chilling with jibbers from all over the country. The common love that you have for progressing make you all family, and I will always be proud to be a member.
While on tour back in 2008, I had a terrible ski accident up at MT. Hood. The injuries that I sustained makes it very difficult for me to do a lot of things, and my poor health played a part in having to shut the Jibyard down. The Jibyard was forced to shut down as a result of a collection of issues, and I did everything my body would allow to try and fix them... But I failed
The Jibyard and the Tour were very special to me, and I just wanted to tell all of you thank you for your support and props throughout the years.
I wish all of you nothing but the best, and I will never forget your support.
Thanks NSers,
Brad Geiger

Belive me when I say you didn't let any of us down. The fact that you opened the jibyard in the first place has been like a spark. There will be many places much like the jibyard soon. We just needed someone to show people it could work.

i didn't know you guys shut down... that's really crumBy. if it's any consolation, you have been part of my inspiration to build a temporary jib park at Burning Man in years to come. Not the upcoming year, but it will happen.

Damn, man. I hope you have success on your future endeavors as well. I have only been to the jibyard once with 2 of my good friends. But I sure had a damn good time there. Thanks for all you had going on there.

Hey man, I remember meeting you when the tour came to WA a few years back. I remember talking to you and I specifically remember how stoked you were to be there doing what you love. You had a smile on all day man. Bummer to hear about what happened. But you never know, maybe one day, things will fall back into place for you. Stay +.

The Jibyard means the world to me, and I plan on building another one some day... I just gotta get some other things in my life fixed first... Thanks for the props..

Vibes man. The Jibyard was seriously like the chillest place on earth the atmosphere there was just so good and you're like the coolest person too you were always stoked on whatever anybody in there was doing. You created this culture of stokeage that was just so conducive to progression and fun. I still have a Jibyard sticker on my car window and it will remain there until the Jibyard makes its resurrection. Thanks for everything and the best of luck in whatever it is you choose to do.

keep fighting man, you will be in my prayers so you'll be able to go back to skiing how you did. I will never forget jibyard i thought about it all summer, i had some amazing times there and i owe that to you. I love ns as well and i am as well proud to be a part of this community.

RESPECT.

Your crash was one of the gnarliest things I have ever seen in my life. I can only imagine the physical AND psychological hardships that come with such an accident. Stay up, and keep your eye upon the prize, whatever it may be. You get to decide, and thankfully you are still here to exercise that ability :)

sick dude, you should throw another rail jam in the street like you did in ogden again or multiple times that shit was sick! maybe not gay judging though kale's 2soft pretzel should have beat the winner's gay-ass switch on continuing 2 out that was some bullshit but other than that you should do that comp again.

I opened a club recently called the "Scrapyard" oldly enough ha ha... It looks like we are gonna host the Dew Tour party again.... Working on booking Snoop Dog for the entertainment.. Hope to see all my Jibyard freinds when it comes around.. Thanks so much for all the props and respect... Its what makes the whole situation bareable... You are all like my family...

you were awesome brad. we never really connected cause i didnt have the money to come as much as i wanted like cameron, mitch, josh, tay, alec, conner, erik and everyone. But the Jibyard helped me progress soooo much! thanks for one of my favorite summers! mad vibes for you! keep it real.

-Michael

Thanks for trying Brad!

That was the BEST summer of my life no question about it! I have a ton of great memories from the that place!!!

Thanks Cam. I miss all you guys. Let me know if u ever wanna come to a fight or concert at my new place. Hope i see you all during Dew Tour.....

never did come around to go. :( regret not going for sure.

it was a good try. im sorry.

ps what's this "scrapyard" talk all about??

Its a huge club and event venue for concerts and pro MMA fights... Its theme out like the Jibyard was... Junkyard Style.... There is just something about dead trees, junk cars, and Graffiti that I love... At least I was able to open a sick club and take a piece of the Jibyard with me... We have had a couple of concerts and fights already, but we will officially open in a couple months... The club and liquor part of the arena is separated so all ages can come to watch the concerts and fights... Website will be up soon... till then just check my facebook...

i always wanted to go to the jibyard, i always saw super cool edits from it, looked like the best place during the summer. Sorry to hear about this

For the love of God can someone please explain to me how to post a picture on a thread... Give it to me in retard terms please cause I can't figure it out....

My advice is if you feel uncomfortable don't do it... It is one thing to be nervous and another to feel uncomfortable.... You should never hit or not hit something because of outside pressure... If the jump is built properly and the conditions are good and you TRULY feel comfortable with it,,,, Go for it.... Good luck Homie!

yo i didnt mean to sound like a hater, i really like what u did i was just not happy with the judging on that one comp u threw and spoke out about it...that rail jam last weekend was pretty dope man, like what youre doing and keep it up sorry again for semi hating.
