For the season..Thanks for the good year.. Shralpteam, Dcrew and others and especially jonahs for the sicktor park all year. Lief, dont fret we will shralp until our dicks fall off regardless where you are and you fucking destroyed it alll year long . Bret way to progress and your air's are shitfuck steezy. Mack, you shralp the mountain soo hard and i look up to your confidence on the hill and the speed at wich you shralp you did this last year but your faster this season. Dave, owned us all again, thanks for being a rad dude and killing both left and right. Jex, one question .. how many stiches did you get this year? was it worth it... FUCK YEAH. Becca you opwned this year, soon you will be good enough to have a midget carry your skis to the lift. Casey you got way good this year, you havent stopped progressing all season and you have a major passion for skiing that is rare, a select few have it and your one of them. Kim you killed the rails and boxes all season long, and with major steeze. Amanda, way to keep up and your confidence is amazing, often scary but i admire you for it. And chris, i skiid with you one or two days but your redicoulas tail presses in the baby park stand out the most, Gnar to say the least.

Words.

good words nick, this year's had ups and downs but it's def been legit, i'll look forward to riding with you next year.

um, nick, my names K.C., fool, not casey. Anyway true words , mange, this year was def fun. some major ups, ie shralpin nicks and filming, and some downs like lacerating my spleen, but all in all, I twas sick. MAJOR thanks to JOHAHs, you built one of the sickest parks ive ever been in and it def help push me to be a better skiier. Thanks to DCREW and UNGNAR crew for putting up with my shitt and skiing with me this season. PEacE, im done as well. K.C>

awwww nick. this thread made me happy, but kind of sad thinking this season is done. i love skiing with all you guys, it's the most fun i've probably ever had. i can't wait till next season already

Nick you forgot yourself....Nick is the craziest fuck I know and I think I speak for everyone. I don't know a single person that charges as hard as he does. Sometimes it's basically stupid. He spins and flips jumps on the first hit speedchecking for everyone else. He's an animal and I wish I had the killer instict he did.

I was gonna create a thread to give big props to Jonahs, but looks like that can basically be summed up here. Jonahs is the man. He listen to everything everyone had to say on here and was always willing to talk to any rider at the mountain. We all are greatly thankful for your superb park building efforts. Thanks to you we all had the radest park in Tahoe to shred at our own will. Thanks a ton and I can't wait to see what you have for next year!!

Awsome season at Alpine!!

Remember though, the season isn't over till we say it is and as long is there is snow I hope everyone is out there shredding it. BC booters and rails till there's only dirt. Then we'll rock the summer set-ups....latterrrrrrr

I just want to chime in and say thanks to you all for helping make the move to tahoe an easy choice, and a season hard to reup in the future.

You all represent your community well.

yea, pretty much i can sum nick hopkins up by watching him, not supposed to be skiing since he had a broken collabone, just guinea pigging idiots after it was slid out, with a hairball crash at the bottom that had us wondering, what the shit? then the next day, you send yourself on a cab-1-who knows what you landed on, but it was surely not close to your feet. then getting up, and doing that shit again. nice season

I’m officially done for the season. I was lucky enough to get a chance to travel back to Colorado to have my last day at A-basin. This was my first season in Tahoe. I moved from Colorado not knowing what to expect. I was very impressed with the terrain and the level of skiing in Tahoe. Thanks to Jonahs for giving me a sick park to ride. I really enjoyed riding all the unfamiliar terrain in Tahoe. Thanks to everyone I met this season. I look forward to another great season in California.

Thanks for all the park compliments. We had a difficult year all around. No snow, rain, non-stop snow, 80 degrees in april. It was not good conditions for park most of the year but when it was we tried to put out the best product possible.

My staff worked hard all year and I wan't to pass alot of that credit their way.

Day crew- Josh Rad (chief), Austin Kamp, Miles Pag, Brian Herring

Groommers- Jason Tackkit, Sean Carney

There was only seven of us, so every person made a huge contribution to design, construction and maintenance.

The park for next year will be bigger and better than we've ever seen at Alpine Meadows. The new park will start at Crash & Burn cliffs and go down Upper Meadow- Terry's Return- Red green- Low blue. If you have a trail map check it out. I clocked the distance at one mile exactly on a sled. We also got some more money for rails, so our quiver of jibs will increase.

Thanks for shredding our park this year.

- Jonahs

The new park description you just gave made my day. The park was amazing already, I can't wait too see this. But it is gunna make my summer that much harder to get through.

Thanks for an awesome season everyone. It was one of the sickest I've had out here..a straight MONTH of powder days, and a dope park to end it. See you all in five months, or hopefully sooner you crazy sons' a bitches.

Jonahs, and the rest of the crew: you guys are kick ass park builders, thanks for all the fun features. Congrats on turning managements' heads, too.

One question, will you guys be able to build Nick's run sized jumps on the new trails/slopes?

Yes, we can fit large jumps on red green and terry's. Hopefully you'll be able to get six jumps in a run, with the last jump on red green breakover being the largest. Plus roundhouse and summit will be able to see all the carnage.

I'm glad I caught a glimpse of this thread. Hats off to a dream season come true. I think that goes fore everyone. I would've only in my dreams imagine skiing pow as many days as we got too. Who remembers the epic faceshots on M2? Less we forget that the most important things that we will ever have are the intangible experiences. With love.

I was only at Alpine for a week this season (spring break), but it was super fun. thats an impressive park to maintain with only 7 people, nice job.
