Thank you Warren Miller

Well, I guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery. The Playground was the first ski movie I made when Charles Boileau, Oli 5 Mars and I were doing 2Track Productions!

Lame trailer BTW, it sounded like a bad corporate video....

i left halfway through last years film....the only good part of going is the free shit you get with the ticket voucher....the actual movies suck ass

it deffinately wasnt the best warren miller teaser i have ever seen but i still think they will gross more money than any other ski film company 10 fold.

All right, it wasn't the greatest trailer ever but warren miller is still the guy who has been able to bring ski movies to the masses. It's the kind of movies that sucks to watch if you know what's really going on with our sport but I'm pretty sure that the family who goes to the iMax to watch on of his movies would be less impressed by seeing the last poor boyz movies only because of the shitty introductions and voice over during Miller's movies. Just for the hell of it, ask any 40 years old who doesn't know about freeskiing or even if he has never skied which one do he prefer doing a good ski movie for us or one of Warren's movies. The answer will probably be the one we don't wanna hear. I don't know if it's good for our sport but Warren's there and he's doing movies since I don't wanna know how long. The good part of his movies is that after some oldies will have seen it, they'll show more respect to the freeskiers on the mountains, and that's a good thing.

wait wait wait...hold on. Was that ska-core?

I find it incredibly ironic that 50% of the teaser was vacuuming, because Kurt Miller and vacuuming have something in common. I'm sad to see that they somehow got Peter O in their film, I mean that Misty 5 truck is just flithy...but that belongs somewhere else.

I'm sure the commentary during the film on that Misty 5 will be something like this..."the aspen colorado native Peter Olenick spends as much time in the air, as he does on the snow. Here he shows us how to grab "truckdriver" style. It's almost as if he is driving a big rig, which makes us wonder...where'd did he park that thing?"

if warren miller and poor boyz merged imagine the high quality film with all that good skiing

it would be amazing. but it wont happen. WM is gay anyway

you could be right, i remember seeing some shots in Ski Porn! that were in Off the Grid last year

everybody needs to stop hating warren miller

i watched his "storm" movie a while ago and he feature the "up and coming" freeskier steele spence back in his aspen days

watching that movie 4 years ago is kinda what got me into freeskiing, i might ski be on 156 cm rossignol rebels without that movie

WARREN MILLER is god like. His narration of a movie alone could draw you in to watch a bad flick. It's KURT MILLER that is ruining his fathers name, the company name and any potential to take the genre of film to a higher level.

"you want your skis, go get 'em."

good god. i thought it was going to be bad but what........

delete this thread. there is no joy that comes from watching that, no joy in even making fun of it, it is so utterly horrible.

there was like 3 shots of sage skiing in the TGR trailer.. at least the warren miller trailer had come good skiing.

I watched it again, Im guessing they realized how boring there movies really are, and they just decided to film some idiot vacuming, and that would be just as entertaining.

i pictured his son's voice more than warren's...they always have those corny little lines like that, but anyways a warren miller movie is the first ski movie that i ever owned and they brought my interest to powder/big mountain skiing...even though i live in New York

I was waiting for you to comment Phil.

According to dictionary.com the definition of Irony is as follows:

1. the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.

2. Literature.

a. a technique of indicating, as through character or plot development, an intention or attitude opposite to that which is actually or ostensibly stated.

b. (esp. in contemporary writing) a manner of organizing a work so as to give full expression to contradictory or complementary impulses, attitudes, etc., esp. as a means of indicating detachment from a subject, theme, or emotion.

3. Socratic irony.

4. dramatic irony.

5. an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected.

- in other words, they're claiming all this creativity when really they title of their film is actually the title of an awesome 2Track film which if you can hunt down a copy, would be well worth you money and time to view.

Oh Warren Miller.
