Okay, so heres the story. Broke my old s-1's doing some drops, and tried to send them back into Rossi to see if i could get em replaced under warranty. So we waited, waited, and 2 weeks later, Rossignol hooks me up with the first pair of their '11 line of skis to be released anywhere.

Legit? Fuck yes.

You guys honestly don't know how stoked i am. havent been able to ski for weeks.

However, i'd definately say go with some s-3's instead of the s-1's. Much better ski. Still..can't believe this. I mean the break wasn't even a fault in the ski, at least i don't think it was.

Rossignol has an amazing warranty service. Ive had to warranty 3 times and they always get me new skis in about a week.

thats way better than my experience with rossi...

and i hate it when skis have gnar grapics but are the same on both, like they dont match up... yeah i know its hard to make but still

same thing happened with my friends gnu snowboard. he broke it and recieved an unreleased 2011 model board as a replacement. he was also quite stoked

I am getting really stoked on Rossi again. The S5 is an unbelievable ski. I want a pair of s6's or s5's as my next park ski.

Not trying to bring anyones stoke down or anything but they are probably just next years Demo skis... but still thats sick that they did that.

.

and to the op good on ya matey pity about yer other planks bein' sent to davey jones locker yeargh i just might look it to rossinol next time i be in dire need of some new planks yeargh matey

my first pair of park skis were entery level rossis and i treated them like shit AND THEY HELD UP! but now that i changed brands i relised how durable they were and how well they preformed. im going back to rosii for my next ski. rossingol for life.

haha my first pair of ''twins'' were Rossi Scratches (the not completely twintip type) and the topsheet started to crack so we brought them to a shop and Rossignol had next years full-twin Scratches sent back to me. Legit company.

99.9% positive they aren't.

and to whoever asked about the break, it was on the top ski right under the binding. wasn't bad at the time, but they were riding about 4 inches off the ground at the tip and were bound to break next run.
