they keep the industry alive. i skiied for the first time this year places like shawnee peak and sunday river and HOLY FUCK posers were everywhere. i cant believe how many SHITTY kids had some real dope shit. i can't complain though cuz if the kids that should be wearing twins were the only ones with them the industry would be even more poor.
 
dont get me wrong everyone has to start somewheres but seriously the ones with dope set ups that just sit there and watch, then ski around everything kinda bug me

I can only do 3s and easy rails. I enjoy riding nice skis and wearing nice clothes. However, I think you are the poser here. Only "posers" put people down and are the reason these new kids don't progress. Stop being all high and mighty on yourself. If you are going to post like this, this site doesn't need you.
 
Good point Russell. Not to mention, I think he's one of those 'core' guys that doesn't wear a helmet. Rad.
 
They are wonderful because they are easily impressed. I love having people cheer nonstop for me no matter if I'm throwing corked 7s or just surface 360s. And damnit, I cheer right back for them if they do something they think is cool, because it encourages them to go bigger and sicker.
 
you are really only a poser if you say you can do stuff you cant or dont progress in your skiing. I'll be the first to admit that i am not all that good in the park, but I still have a good setup.
 
come on man if you classify people like that then you are just lowering yourself down lower. just do what we all love ski, help out people that are not as good as you and pick them up when they fall dont make fun of them, "you know you dont like getting yelled at when you mess up". and wouldent you try more stuff if you knew that no one would make fun of you but complemnet you for the balls to throw it???
 
who cares if people have nice stuff and cant ski. If they have the money, why would they buy shitty stuff that doesnt even put back money into the newschool companies
 
Everyone has to start at the beginning, it takes practice and time to get better. If you can afford it, then you should wear whatever you want to wear, even if it makes you a "poser". I don't think anyone can honestly say they just put a pair of skis on and then killed it in the park or on the mountain.
 
i didn't say a word..and i'm not one bit jealous cuz i have really good gear..i'm not saying u have to be good to have the gear but u should at least attempt stuff.
 
nope, i wear my helmet at all times..not a full face like you though, maybe when i get out and ski those extreme CO lines someday.

your missing my point..im just saying it's kinda like watching cribs..u see all these hummers and shit and all they are used for is to be shown off around a city, it's useless and i see no point but people still do it and it's a good thing i guess.
 
I have nice skis and nice gear, but I a cant do a three, however I am usualy only in the park if I am filming or the snow is bad.

yea man i tihnk your being kind of a dick if they do anything you guys yell at them.. if you just let them go for and they messed up and you said nice try and gave them a tip they would look up to you and tihnk hes really nice noine likes a kid who tihnk there shit odnt smell for once stop trying ot be the cool kid and start by helping the kids that are as good as you they will really appreacaite and you can feel good
 
yeah ive gotten tips and they help me alot i look for the people later like " you helped can i ski witchu ?"

its how i learned to do boxes and spins so far

i hate it when people on twins are such dicks, most people i know are cool, but some are mad gay. one kid cut off my brother one day and my brother was just like wtf, and we left him alone, so he comes up to us and is like "i love pissing off people that suck". what is the point in that? what a retarted kid. i was so glad when all his friends left him and said he was being gay, and when he told them to wait up for him they all just said fuck you and left

A poser is someone who talks shit, claims, and pretty much acts like God's gift to earth but is a complete pussy with lack of skill (or none for that matter). It doesn't matter how nice the gear is because a person with 3 year old skis and all of last years clothing (some maybe not even related to sports) can still be a poser.
 
I hate it when I go to the park with intentions of learning somethin, or trying something new, and there are really good people there that just put you down everytime you mess up.
 
being fortunate and having 2 pairs of skis for different conditions are too very different things my friend, one you can be and still not be a dick
 
it sounds like a post count...you aren't allowed to wear this type of jacket, or use those skis until you can do this or that trick...

its absolute bullshit...if anything else, wearing the good stuff and having good equipment will G these guys up to do more tricks..

everyone starts somewhere - but its a totally different story, when you are talking about those that jus ttalk shit and cant back it up..

i get the feeling that your trying to say that if someone can't do anything all he has to do rip his pants and wear crappy clothes, then he's not a poser anymore
