Thall vs. Addict vs. Pipe cleaner

Skis. Im 150 lbs about 5'9". I ride east coast park, but love to rip all mountain and powder when its there. I need peoples opinion on the thalls, pipe cleaner or fischer addicts. Line chronics are an option too, or anything else if people have suggestions. Volkl Karmas maybe? If youve ridden any of these skis your opinion would help alot. I was thinking 171 pipe cleaners at the moment.

thanks

171 seems short and the pipe cleanerss have thinner edges and softer bases so they may not be the bestif you hit alot of rails. i think addicts would be the best because tere the cheapest yet still solid skisand there symetrical. they have a mid flex to them so they will handle the rest of the mountian well.

177 karma's, or buy that kids volkl walls at 177, its a sick deal. Otherwise get 176 ar6. If you weigh 150 get something 174-180. I am also 5'9 but fifteen pounds lighter and my ar6's at 171 work great. Pc's seem sick too but do you need a race base ir not?

sorry to kinda take over the thread but ive heard t-halls are a little too soft for jumps like if you land backseat even alittle bit you go into a massive manual

if you want something that'll be fun to rip choppy pow, steer clear of symetrical park skis. look at salomon foils, volkl karmas, or 4frnt msps. those are all really solid, all a little wider, and all still shred park. and if you're 5'9", go with something around a 180, especially if you're going to be riding all mountain.

addict or thall

addict is stiffer and does not have the "crazy" flex points in the tip and tail like the T-halls so up too u...also the addict is symetrical so if ur going to centre mount thats another up for them

wrong. t-halls are sick on jumps. they have a huge sidecut to carve with, and they are super light and poppy they feel stable underfoot unless you want to butter them. they are by far the best ski i have ever had for rails, so easy to butter, nollie, press, etc.. and they are super spinny. get a 176 thall for sure.

he said he rides east coast, pull your head out of your ass. and look into trouble makers, fun ski, just make sure you get either this past season's (07) or next years (08) with the reinforced edges.

head out of your ass? I should say the same for you actually. The guy who made this thread just got back from a heli trip FYI. When he said he skis powder when he can, he meant it.

Jon about 3/4 of these cats don't know what the faaack they're talking about. Don't choose a pair of skis based on what a few 12 year olds from NS tell you...

^ so if he REALLY does ski powder, then why haven't fatter skis been brought up as alternatives?
