Thall or ar6 in a 166?

I am either gonna get the thall or the ar6 in a 166...i ski like 70% park and this summer ill be hitting the park and pipe a lot...i also hit a ton of rails...so yea the thall or the ar6? also, any good binding recommendations, im looking to spend like 150-200 on a good, strong, light binding.

well whats considered a wide ski?

"We have widened the dimensions of this particular model to provide skiers with increased stability"-ar6

K2 PEs are wide enough to need wide brakes, and the ar6 is the same width, so yeah, go with wide if you want the ar6.

actually i ride ar6s with a widebrake binding, (it was the last pair they had a the shop) and it makes no difference, because when the brake goes up, the diameter narrows as well. at least on my rossignol axial 2 binding it does. it shouldnt make a difference, its 83 underfoot so either way will work just fine.

so then the ar6 is not considered a wide ski...sorry if i dont know much about this stuff...but what exactly is considered a wide ski...and is the ar6 in this group?

If you like stiffer skis, go ar6, softer go THall. I have Halls and AR5's, and actually like the AR5's better. The THalls are just too soft for me.
