Thall 176cm -- Too short for 6' 4" 185 lbs park skier?

Need some advice!
I'm looking to score a late season deal but stocks are all run dry online and locally. At a local store they are selling Armada THALL skis in 176cm. I can also get Armada AR7's in 176cm online, free shipping for big discounts. My local store also has some Nordica Ace of Spades in 184cm (that's the longest park ski that I've been able to find, and it's selling for $450)
I am 6' 4" (that's roughly 192cm) and weigh 185-190lbs (that's without ski clothes, boots, etc. of course).
This will be my first park specific ski. I am a park newbie, but am planning to shift my attention towards park and so I'm looking for a park only ski. I'm interested in jumps and rails, but doubt I'll be hitting 50 footers anytime soon. I'd like something i can butter and press with, but also land jumps safely.
Thanks!

176 would be wayyy to short. im 5'8 and i ride 171s, 176s wouldve been fine for me but i opted for a smaller size since im old and i dont grow anymore. definitely somewhere from 179-184

i wouldnt go for em man a 176 is pretty short. also being a centermount ski, they will ski shorter. go for those nordicas

As the case with most gear, there is a lot of preference involved when choosing equipment. But with that said, the general norm for park skis is about as tall as you, or even a bit taller, so yes they will be quite short.

Hey,

as most people are saying they would probably be too short. I'm 6' I had the 176 T-Halls centre mounted and they were too short for me so i sold them. However it is personal preference, some people do like skiing short skis. Try and demo some skis in the different lengths.

i ride a 179 park ski and i am 5'11" and 150 pounds. the t hall is not a very stiff ski so that really won't help if your on a shorter ski. go for the nordicas

if your 6'4 than definantly go for the nordicas, you need to have the right sized ski if you want to be progressing

im 6 feet and i ride 181 moment rockers and they are the perfect size. They do ski a little short for their size because of the rocker though. if i were you i would definetly go with the 184s

Def go with anything in the 180s from any brand except k2. k2 measures long so a 179 from them is more like a mid 180's.

Also for park and all mountain I ride a pair of 189 kungfujas and I am 6 foot 5 inches and 250 pounds

if ur skiing all park, mainly rails who cares what size?

if you actually plan on skiing with them, get the longest ones you can.

check out On3p's sale, they have closeout deals on 191 park skis

are you sure? because they dont make a 191 park ski and they sold out of their 181 blue steeles and jeronimos

heh, fair enough, i thought iggy(aka kim jong il)said they were maing a 191 jmo.

in anycase, i think scott makes a 191 park ski, k2's measure long so a 184(?) extreme would work well.

ARV would be good, moral of my story is longer is better...girth is more of a personal preference kind of thing.
