Bowie is chill, but ground control, what an un-original and obvious pick for a song for a ski movie. Why don't they just use Tom Petty's learning to fly or worse Van Halen's Standing on top of the world, or maybe R Kelly I believe i can fly... i could go on for a while i guess

Yeah its not so bad a choice, its just soooo easy to rip TGR, they get into all that religion-like talk about skiing all the time too, it would drive me insane to have to edit footage of someone talking about how they found themselves on the top of some mountain for the 20th time

i didn't say it was boring to ski shit like that, i said it was boring to hear skiers talk about spirituaity instead of skiing. tell me about the though process leading up to skiing the 50 degree pitch in AK not how epic it felt to be standing therre on top of it, i've heard that same shit a million times, "i feel so privileged to be leading this lifestyled," "the bigger the dream the bigger the sacrifices," "what's the next dream, where's the next line," and other such bullshit annoys me.

they seem to be heading more in the direction of a newschool movie. theyve got the olenicks, dylan hood, dash longe and that sort. it looks like its gonna be sick

I'm going to semi-agree with the dadali kid and say it does look like pretty standard TGR, but in my estimation, that's not a bad thing... this has potential to be a good one. I hope I get a chance to see it at some point.

some people like it but i really dont like how they do it. the slow mo and lack of shots or the full clip really doesnt get me going. niether does slow music. its either a like it or hate it kinda movie that they make. i saw high life at a premier and i hated it other than crichtons and woods part. if they showed them skiing those crazy lines in reg speed i would like it alot better

no not at all...im fine with the older guys in there. im fine with big mountain def. its not a movie for me. they shouldnt change the skiing that many people like. i just think instead of 20% down big mountain would look better in lets say 90% or 80% speed. i personally love to see people hauling ass down a mountain into cliffs or super tech lines. i really would like to see more super tech line through a cliff and stuff instead of fast down crazy shit if you knwo what i mean. and the heli shots are great i think except for the slow mo factor. some shots should be slow like that if they are totally epic but most of them can look 4x better in reg speed. thats my 2 cents. and up and comers from the east wont make a powder movie better because tgr is about powder. buy it if you want powder

the thing i like about tgr is there movies kind of have a personality sorta like not just segments and not to the point of stupid warren miller like they have personality mixed with awesome shots

that 90000 foot backflip was pretty, who was that? I like Tgr movies they show the less techincal, more raw and extreme side of the sport. Something about untracked unpredictable unmeasured big mountain lines gets me excited, I just picture myself in that position and how intense it would feel. I just can't relate to jibbing as well, not that I dont know how to jib regular rails it just never did it for me, no matter how many times you spin on and off it only gets more techincal, never gets more exciting

don't complain about the heli shots either, people loved that shit with tanner in yearbook and tony in x

i can't wait to see jibbers with lots of style hit AK lines (that 3 and that bio/misty 7 were amazing)

weve seen them in the bc, but big mountain/cliffs is a whole new facet waiting to be explored

I was skiing wasatch backcountry this past season and I hit a cliff and right behind me came Jt and he backflipped it I guess he was filming with Team13, it was laid out and pretty but I think he lost his goggles on the landing he was dicking around in the snow for a while after he landed, Maybe ill make special features, then I'll surely be able to get laid
