TGR Shoot at Stevens Pass

im just sad that this footy wont be in rages next movie, i would soooooo much rather see rage's crew hit the jumps they built than tgr's gay crew do 3's and take all credit for building them. Every trg video iv ever seen has sucked dick anyway and every rage video since booter crunk has fucking rocked and i own them all.

stevens needs to build a pond skim on the same monumental standards as these private post season jumps.

ill supply the water.
 
I heard that Rage spent a full week building the jumps.. Even if the cat drivers aren't yours, you're gonna spend a good amount of time helping decide the shape, size, dimensions, and look of the jump, as well as raking and finishing it by hand.
 
no rage employees weren't driving the cats, they probably dont know how to do that. the stevens pass crew was building everything, but under rage's directions. rage had everything written out on what they wanted, designs, drawings, everything and then they get the cat guys to do that. and then the skiers have to test it out, see what needs changing and what work has to go into it still, which can take days. rage didnt show up and just start hitting shit that was built for them. they built the shit.
and that list of riders is outstanding...but seriously 2 of those guys can ski park well. sammy and tanner. where as the entire rage crew slayssss park.
whoever said rage is dumb for not destroying there jumps is an idiot. did you expect them to bring there avy shovels out to destroy take offs the size of houses?
rage didnt even get to hit some of the jumps that they put a shitlaod of time into like the "death slayer". they tested that thing a ton and didnt even get to shoot on it. and begged to hit it on the one sunny day they had when it was ready. thats bullshit.
this would have never happened if tgr was there and rage wanted to come in. they would have let tgr stay.
 
Or.. you could grow up, stop dropping the N bomb, realize that he was making a point about avy shovels through sarcasm, and then also realize that you're a dumbass that doesn't understand that ski patrol isn't going to waste dynamite on a park jump.
 
U the dumbass danger, ski patrol doesn't just keep thier extra dynamite in storage at the end of the season they destroy all of it.........dumby
 
yes My first NS thread win, I would like to thank my family, my sponsors, and all that supported me throughout this thread, I knew If I just kept grinding it out I would come out with the W, better luck next time danger ....
 
We built the features, and we were supposed to be hitting the features until Monday. On Friday we were told that we were only allowed to ski until Saturday because TGR was coming earlier, or something. And it turned out the weather was phenominal on Sunday and Monday. It isn't that big of a deal, it is just unfortunate. It sucks that one crew can have a ton of people work their asses off on a few features, and because of who the other crew is they can come take over whenever. In enjoy during the Winterpark shoot, Mackdawg had a big jump built, and afterward they plowed it and Rage couldn't even use the same mound of snow or build a jump in the same spot. Obviously there were different circumstances. I just know that Mertion, Spong, Schlopy, Joss, Cheese, etc... would have murdered those jumps, and although TGR will to, it's almost a shame to not see them used to their full potential.
 
Yeah so i guess I'll step in and speak since I was at the Rage shoot and am right now at the TGR shoot with everyone going crazy downstairs. Rage had already stayed a few days past what the mountain had planned and agreed on so they weren't too into having us for another day, which is understandable but unfortunate since the weather was clear the next day. However, the jumps are not the same, the big jump now has no middle, and is twice as poppy as it was, the "Death Slayer" has six feet added to the top and they built a completely new feature. There was no intent on poaching the shoot or anything TGR just had their plans and is using what's given, same with Rage. No too big of a deal since Rage's next park shoot is gonna eat people alive!

Letting you stay until Monday would have been the least they could do. I mean even if TGR was able to come in early, it's not cool to change your schedule on you because TGR's schedule changed. Are you guys off to another park shoot or could you go back and hit the features after they leave? Maybe the bridges are burned but I still want to see you guys slay and reap some benefits from the work you put in.
 
did you read what I posted? We had stayed past when we were supposed to already. TGR wasn't cutting us short
 
Ah my bad I missed that part... skimmed ahead to the talk about TGR altering the features. And I was quoting Gus who said Rage was supposed to shoot until Monday.
 
I am gonna believe that Stevens was pretty good to work with throughout this whole ordeal. I remember last season when I believe Rage was filming on the last day of our season. Stevens built some ridiculous features and we just sat there watching them session it. Blew my mind to see film worthy skiing in person, it was a first for me since I don't live in a resort town like many of you down in Colorado or something. I still would rep the PNW over anywhere else though, but I would enjoy Alaska immensely...
 
im not saying the skiing and shots arent phenomenal, im saying what tgr does with them isnt too great
 
how do you know that? all it says on there sight is that he's throwing double flips,and the picture looks like a straight over double back to me.
where are you getting your facts from? you seem pretty confident in yourself
 
the only thing more dangerous than the wolves in twisp are the crazy locals who shoot the wolves then try to fedex the bodies to a taxidermist in canada.
 
I kind of remember another film crew getting their spot taken by a bigger film crew. Yeah. Come to think of it, someone from the smaller crew made a post about it on NS, and called the owner of the other company a "pussy of a man" or something along those lines. Does that ring a bell?

That wouldn't be a factor if they saw TGR's movies as well. No it isn't their content, their post production and coloring seem horrible to me.
 
last time i checked my back and whole body hurt from maintaining those jumps that Stevens Pass park groomers built. not rage not tgr. Top Phliight crew. Last time i checked Stevens pass paid thousands of dollars to build those jumps people worked for a week straight. Im still working and have not had a day off since April 21st. something yor should all be looking for is not who is hiiting what or who built what but the tricks and stlye of what was thrown. we exteded rages shoot an extra three days so they could get more stuff. yeah the weather turned around and the jump was not hit by them. so what its a pile of snow we built. it was not working for them. guess what it didnt work all that great for TGR. as for the other big jump. so what we wanted to save some money and not go push for another week on something else although we changed it up quite a bit, and they used different angles riders ect. this post sounds like a conversation that you would hear in a high school somewhere.
