Read it, now to 22 pages. Possibly one of the greatest threads ever. Shits about to hit the fan too cause this guy scammed a bunch of people out of dukes and hasnt paid them back. He's making a bunch of bullshit, lame excuses. Let this go out as a lesson to all: Dont fuck with maggots. Dont fuck with NSers. We will do the same(but with more immature comments and posts).

To be honest, I don't think NSers have the the same tools at their disposal (Lawyers, Law Enforecement friends) but I hope that the Admin would be as helpful as it has been on TGR. But it's pretty fucking good, just goes to show how you aren't really anonymous on the internet.

FYI, I am one of those who got scammed on TGR and am eagerly awaiting this situation to be resolved.
 
Haha I just went to post a couple of pics of that kid in this thread and somehow it ended up in the karma system thread in site discussion...no clue how it happened.

Anyways that thread is hilarious and that kid is a dick for fucking people over like that.
 
Huh. I rode up a chairlift with that kid at Crystal. We talked about how his Madens performed being mounted at a traditional mounting point. Wouldn't have pegged him for a scammer, but then again it's difficult to understand a person's personality based on a three minute discussion...

But I really like the idea of driving by his house, snapping a picture, writing on it how you'd like your money back, putting it in a box, and UPS'ing it to him. Then take a photo of the UPS person delivering it to him, and mail that photo to him to (even better if he's in that photo).

Three people got ripped off..big time (including Veteran) and he "promised" to get them the money by Friday. Well actually it was originally mothers day but then his mom and dad were "threatened" blah blah blah..

People are fucking it up though, posting fake ads for gay sex on craigslist is NOT going to help the guys their money.

yeah, so those made n' aks were stolen from evogear.

He bought them, then said he wanted to return them. He got his money back and kept the skis, as well as some lange boots.

Kids a douche bag and I hope he gets fucked in a federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison.
 
Goes to show how legit people are over at TGR.

People don't scam each other over there. If they do - look what happens. Jesse Jones' life is fairly screwed now (Well at least within the ski industry), and it will probably be worse once the legalities start.

I've PERSONALLY had THREE occasions when i've been scammed on this site alone.

Peeps think that because I don't live in their country that it gives them a license to not send shit after i've paid for it..

There are definitely people I could trust on NS - but it would be under 50 members.

Threads like the JJ scam thread @ TGR show how everyone works together there to help out a few guys that were screwed. Maybe i'm wrong, i'm sure there would be some members, but I couldn't see too many people here doing that.

 
WTF? Even though the state of mind of many members here is very immature and stupid, Im still very surprised to hear you got scammed 3 times. I've usually had smooth transactions on this site, but I buy stuff carefully, from donators with decently high post counts, or have been here long, or people vouch for them.

I've only had one close call with scamming here, when I sent someone a check for a copy of blunt they said(so $10). I waited a while, they said they thought they had it but didn't, so I asked for my money back. He said he sent a check and that it was cashed. I never got it. So he was either lying or some scumbag got my check. I just gave him the benefit of the doubt. It was a respected member and only $10.

But seriously though 3 times... I think that requires a story.
 
You may remember the one about anon.ymous - he jacket me out of US$330..there were pages of posts about that fucker..then there were 2 other guys a few years ago.

The thing is, whenever I buy from people on NS i will generally try and make a decently-sized purchase to make the shipping cost worthwhile - unfortunately that means that i'm always financially extended beyond a few hundred dollars, so the risk increases.

I don't know why people (e.g. little fuckers on this site that think stealing my cash is funny) think that it's any less difficult to prosecute a thief because i'm in another country.

The next time it happens (Hopefully it won't), I will absolutely be pursuing the matter out of principle.
 
This is probably a stupid question but is there some reason that people don't use COD shipping? I bought my skis and binders off a fellow NSer this year and it was smooth as butter. It just seems like no one would get ripped off if it was all done this way.

 
I forgot about anthony bacon what a douche bag. He should have gone through 10 times as much as the douche bag on tgr is going through.
