so i was at Fortune, and we wer all jammin on a box. so there wer some pretty good ppl there, and this one guy threw down a 2 on, 3 up, 4 out. it was insane, but no one said anything. so at my run, i decicded to do a stupid trick i learned in my backyard during pre season, pretty much a screaming semen on a box. i landed it, and ppl got stoked. and that got me thinking: why is it that a simple, easy trick seems more inpressive and generates more hype than a sweet, but text book trick? skiing is evolving faster than ever, but almost it seems in 2 directions, theres all the triple corks, and x games\dew tour, but then hippy killers and early grabs, and new tricks on flat or little jibscoming from windells or coc everyday. whats happing to text book? is it a phase, or is skiing taking a whole new direction?

im pretty sure the whole thing about skiing going in two directions has been what everybody has been saying for the pats year or so?

they've been talking about it since the beginning of competitions... but it seems to be getting more & more pronounced every year now.

& OP... I think your trick probably looked fun & different & not like something designed to score points.... just like people get more hyped when there's a gaper day on or something.
