that's the reason for making this thread. It happened i X, and was terrible.... not it's back.
 
If you're talking about the Best Whip Contest text voting, I don't think it's comparatively as bad as when Simon won big air.

Best whip is easy to see for the public. Who ever is closest to going upside down and backwards is the best. It's not like in skiing where the public has no clue what's difficult and what isn't.
 
I agree... and by all doing the same trick, it removes any idea of difficulty. It's a whip, with minor variations, just based on what you think looks cool.

It's like if X skiing was a frontflip contest.. some people like super man, some like tucked.
 
and it seemed like the announcers were way stoked on the one guy and they just kept talking about him so im pretty sure thats why he won, not to take anything away from him though.
