I thought Texas Chainsaw Massacre sucked the cock. There were a few scary parts, but then it turned into a cat and mouse movie.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is nothing compared to Night of Living Dead. Zombies is my worst nightmares, they give me creeps. I get sorta freaked out everytime I drive past a cementary at nighttime.

heres the scary part about Tex. in the end, when they show the police video of fuckin the chainsaw guy and how he jumps out and you see like 2 frames of his face, and the narrator says something like 'Officer Dickface failed to secure the crime scene, this is the only known footage of Leatherface. 2 police officers were killed.' thats is REAL FOOTAGE. its actually leatherface. not faked for the movies sake.

yeah but the real story isnt nearly as fucked up, he didnt even use a chainsaw , it was just a dude kiling people and making furniture and shit out of there skin and body parts, its still fucked up but the story itself is very hyped up

house of 1000 corpses was one of the most whacked out movies ever, and it wasn't made 35 years ago. Rob Zombie actually directed it.

He basically took every concept from every horror movie made in the past and threw it together.

Are you sure about the footage in the end being real? They would have to get permission from the officer (who died)'s family to run it, and alot of times they are not going to want to air it.

they couldve made it into a scary movie, but when the director chooses a cast with anyone from the WB, i just cant take it seriously anymore.

i also heard that the footage at the beginning and end of the movie was real, but i could be way off the mark with that. either way, the movie blew, it wasnt scary, just kinda gave you a gross tingly feeling whenever a limb was severed or something like that. but the actual story is really creepy.

 
the most gory movie ive ever seen is probably house on haunted hill or something... theres a shit load of blood in that movie...
