it comes out on vid march 30th, and i think the whole based on true story things is kinda overdone, i read somewhere that they based him off of actual killers such as ed gene and stuff and just made him up, but im not possitive

the guy who did it acutally lived in wisconson and he would knock on peoples doors and when they answered he would kill them, pretty fucked up

the 'based on a true story' thing is absurd. the murders are loosely based on the ed gein murders. the first one (the original) was a classic, truely a horror masterpiece, but i heard the remake was miserable.

I changed my sig because someone thought it was too long,so that makes it a shorter sig,doesn't it?Maybe i should make it longer,maybe not,but who gives a fuck?Certainly not me,neither your mom,I like trees,because they grow apples,and I like apples as much as i like weed.
My conclusion is that we should all put some seeds under the ground in some hot country(like mine,where the heat is too hot to move 3 feet away from the swimming pool)and just let it grow,because when i get old i wanna get stoned,but in order to get high i need to improvise some techniques for the growth of pot.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is NOT based on a true story, it's based on true EVENTS...and even then it's VERY loosely based.
Like someone said above it was inspired partly by ed gein (Guy-N), just like psycho and silence of the lambs (buffalo bill) were both partly inspired by him.
Tobe Hooper wrote the original screenplay with Kane Hodder (too lazy to check for sure that's who the second guy was) and made the movie for about $50 000 or so.
Personally I thought the second was pretty impressive. Some truly gruesome moments.

Like someone said above it was inspired partly by ed gein (Guy-N), just like psycho and silence of the lambs (buffalo bill) were both partly inspired by him.
