What’s up NS, I recently took a job in Driggs and I was wondering if anybody on here might live up in the area/have some insight on housing? I know options are pretty thin up there so any info would be awesome.

Best of luck! That is a pretty tough area but I would imagine there has to be something. I have some friends and family that work in that area(construction), they live in Idaho Falls and drive back and forth everyday. Summer time they will live in their camp trailers. Not the most economical way but housing is either non existent or just so damn expensive. Again, best of luck.

But, as oldmanski said, options are limited and housing is very tight. Long time seasonal workers with plenty of local connections are having a really hard time finding a place to live this spring. Three or four years ago, this time of year we'd all know a couple of people with open rooms trying to fill them. This spring most of us with housing have three or four people we're trying to help find housing for instead. It's brutal. The hill has built more affordable housing recently, but you've got to work for the hill, and I'm sure it's in high demand.

Figured I'd give this a bump. If anybody in the valley is looking for another room mate let me know! In the mean time hoping things pop up.

I work as an engineer and do general manufacturing as well. If you’re ever in the area we’ll have to do some riding!

Damn dog good for you. Are you a MechE? Are they paying you well? I would kill to have an engineering job in such a nice place.
