Teton Pass Ski Resort

Has anyone here been there? It looks like it wouldn't be much fun unless you go out of bounds. Maybe I'll break out the skins and make a trip up this season.

went there last year a couple times. It really bad ass. Its always dead. Like max of 50 people (over exaggeration). And last year they had an amazing snow year. multiple 20+" days. So it never gets tracked out. and they have some sweet tree skiing thru an old burn area. so the inbounds is great as you can always find fresh runs. (hopefully this year is like last)

But since it is on the front, it does get really windy. Its bad cause, you know, wind. But its good cause you can ski powder on a blue bird day. And on a powder day, your tracks get covered up by the time you get to the top on the chair. So if you dress for the wind, you will have a great time.

It would be an ideal place to have a set of skins. Its alot like bridger in how the chair doesnt reach all the way to the top of the mountian. There is still alot more above the top of the chair, above the tree line that RARELY gets skied, but it looks like amazing terrain.

The road to it is kinda sketch as the last 5ish miles are ill maintained, single lane dirt road.

But the best part, is the kitchen. The have some amazing food. Easily the best ski resort food in the state.

And closing day last year they had a pond skim which was a ton of fun. One of the most chill ski related events I have ever seen.

Overall, Its worth it. And ill be back multiple times this winter

let me know if you have any questions about it

Thanks man I appreciate the knowledge. It looks super sick maybe I'll try out their randonee race.

Great Falls Ski club will be doing a trip up there the weekend of Feb 21st as well. Not for a while, but at least something to look forward too!

Plus it will be my birthday weekend... shots and shots and shots.
