everything works fine exept the picture is frozen in windows media player, the sound is fine. It connected right away for me. But it would work alot better if you could get it in Quicktime.

Okay.. i suspect some people may nto be doing it properly / not installing the program / whatever... heres what i did exactly to get it to work.. try following these steps EXACTLY:
1. If you have media player, or any other video program open.. CLOSE IT.
2. If you already have the software downloaded etc, CLOSE IT.
3. If you dont have any of it yet, disregard the first 2. next. go tohttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/download.aspx and download Windows media player 9 or 10. (you probably dont ahve this (the latest) version). Make it the default player during set up. RESTART your computer after installing.
4. go tohttp://www.peercast.org/download.php and download the appropreate version. Even though i have winamp, i downloaded the wondows version.
5. Click on the file you downloaded and install it following the instructions. Install all components. click the option to add a shortcut to the start menu for convenience.
6. RESTART YOUR COMPUTER RIGHT AFTER THIS!
7. Once you restart, go to the start menu or wherever the program was installed and Start Peercast. you should get a little icon on your system tray, but no actual 'program' (you can open a user interface through the icon if you like)
8. go tohttp://yp.peercast.com and in the search type in 'NSTV'. If you cant find it, go here:http://yp.peercast.org/?find=NSTV
9. click on 'PLAY' with the star next to it. Windows media player should pop up. if anything else pops up, i dont think it will work, as media player is the only program that can play the latest WMV files.

Put in the URL for the NSTV and it showed up, I clicked play and peercast opened and then theres nothing to click on and nothing happened.

i had a typo up there.. its .ORG .. not .com

Well, I've searhced every page of channels, I found some naked Spanish chicks (it said adult and I couldn't help myself so I burned one off real quick). But unfortunately, no NSTV. I'm utterly dissapointed...but peercast works on my comp.

Yeah hopefully tonight. We're putting a new HD in the NSRadio computer right now, so once that is done I'll give the NSTV another shot.
We'll get it, it'll just take some time!
In the meanwhile, if people can try using peercast and getting it working with some of the other channels, that'd be sick. If it works with other channels, then I know it's just something I'm doing wrong.
If you guys can connect to other channels, please give me the information of those as well, and I'll try to copy them.

Hey Doug,
I was fooling around with it a lot last night. I was able to connect to a lot of the other channels, the WMV ones that is. I still don't know what NSV format is...weird. Anyways, let us know when you put the NSTV back up and i'll give it a shot. The other ones were working for me.
The whole process is pretty involved. Took a lot of figiting! But, like you said, we'll figure it out!
