Territorial Ontarians

We all know that skiers from Ontario are very territorial, especially when it comes to ski hills. I am not sure who's territory Calabogie Peaks Resort is, but I'm sorry for treading.

I came in with my steeze, and I learned my lesson. My poles were stolen by you. I understand that this is the consequences you face when you come into a different area. Keep the poles as a victory memoir and I promise I will never ever disrespect you ever again.

That is all,

Floss

P.S. Titties

shitty man, i know what you mean, i always try to make the effort to talk to any skier that looks ns'ish. Get shrugged off half the time. Fuck ontario.

Canada is a hell of a drug.

also, I left my favorite poles in the lot at SR the other day. completely unrelated, but I feel your loss.

man I still get scared at my home mountain about gear getting swiped. Also im an Ontarian, stop giving us a bad rap man. I have an NS sticker plastered on the front of my helmet so if anyone calls me out i will respond, only happened like once or twice though.

my gogs got stolen at sun peaks, laps later shredding without them I saw some weekend warriors giggling from the lift at me... felt bad man

that sucks go steal poles from somewhere else and the cycle continues

also rumour has it henrik harlaut took his first run in ontario and has skied without poles ever since

Lol that sounds really weird that there's territory issues. I don't know about other places but in Montana everyone is your friend.

i dont know if id agree. i feel as if americans are generally no more hospitipal than us Canadians. then again im biased towards Canadians

Bogie is my territory. If you promise never to return, I will give you back your poles.

But seriously, I had a bag of stickers which had a saga, 2 wutangs and an NS sticker stolen out of my bag at calabogie yesterday which kinda sucks because I was supposed to sell em to a bud but oh well.

If you're ever at calabogie and you see a guy in a full bloom suit, call me out! I love skiing with new dudes

never had my shit stolen from any Ontario hills, and I am not really a regular at any of them. I do feel that Ontario is about equal to Quebec. I ski by myself a lot and it seems that no one except the nice old guys or rental people sit with me on the lift, I'm ok with it because they make pretty good conversation but it won't kill you to sit with park kids you don't know. Maybe it's because they speak french, but whenever I say something to someone they give me a weird look and ski away. I JUST WANT TO BE FRIENDS.

will do, is calabogie any good? Would it be worth stoping for a few hours on my way to Quebec? Always down to check out new places.

It's dosen't have the greatest of parks, no jumps yet but the terrain and vibes are pretty good. Were setting up a quad kink to elbow soon. its basically in the opposite driection of quebec though, so probably not worth it

About 100% sure I saw you yesterday, gave a nod while walking up to Black Donalds. I'll stay off your turf.

Let me just say that Ontario is as diverse as it is big (btw it's big). There a lot of very nice people here and a lot of douchebags too, just like any other place in the world.

It's shit. The park is shit/non-existent, the people are shit, the vibes are shit, the chairlifts are slow. Just avoid it.

I know this might shock you, but ski poles are one of the most stolen things at mountains. Maybe somebody just dug your hot pink 20 inch poles

It's understandable that people have to create drama to keep themselves entertained while dealing with the reality that is skiing in Ontario. I feel for you guys, spent 2 years in Toronto. Never again.

From my experience the bigger the hill, the friendlier the people are. This is why there are so many asshole skiers in Ontario, because we only have very small hills. Every time I visit real mountains most people are supper friendly, and stoked.

Except they are building a 30 foot stepup right now and setting up a quad kink. And vibes are sweet

A while back my buddy collided with a old timer gaper at Tremblant. Instead of getting up and saying sorry for skiing out of control, he gets up and starts screaming at my buddy in french. It was actually a pretty big collision left my buddy with a nice shiner.
