Vibes to this family. Happened near where I live tonight. "A 14-year-old girl died in the accident. Troopers say the teenager was riding in the back seat of a van. The sliding door was not completely closed. When the girl tried to open and reclose the door, she was sucked out and run over by other cars." I guess the family was on the way to move into their new house from out of state. ++++vibes

dude that kind of shit just makes me depressed, and its on a skiing website which makes me happy. i think posts like this shouldnt be allowed. what does this have to do with skiing, i mean it really sucks, but skiing doesnt, so dont put this shit on newschoolers, sorry but WTF man
 
Word me neither. I guess the rushing air past the door and the stationary air in the car makes a vacuum...but ya, she wasn't wearing her seatbelt which is why it happened. Always wear your seatbelt kids, no reason not to.
 
That's a good story to scare people so much they will wear seatbelts.

no if you open a door in a plane you get sucked out because the plane is pressurized to the same atmospheric pressure as 10000 feet but it is flying at 35000 feet. 35000 feet has a much lower atmospheric pressure. openening a car door has nothing to do with airplanes
 
yeah but lets be honest, what the fuck are we going to do about it, I kinda have to agree with the guy, hope her family does ok and everything, but there is no need to have depressing shit on here in the current volume it is in here now. There is tons of really sad shit from people that I actually know, but I dont. And this isnt tearing on the OP but really NSG is becoming borderline emo with all of the sad stuff in here.
 
Survival of the fittest. If your too fucking dumb to wear a seatbelt your going to have a higher chance of dying and not reproducing.

That's awful, it always sucks when young people die for no reason at all like that.

I am curious as to how someone gets sucked out of a van, but it's not really my place to ask, so best regards to her and her family.
 
Yeah that sucks. Thats why for like the passenger doors if there not all the way closed you put the window down first I guess so theres less resistance or something. But that's really terrible. Vibes to her family and friends.
