This is just kind of a dream idea I have, but if someone were to open a small park just outside of burlington with a few jumps, and some ill rails, a rope tow/poma/T-bar, open from maybe 4 PM to 11 PM, how many people would frequent it?

i think it would be popular and possibly successful. if you could find a rope tow for cheap and have some cheap concessions, you could have cheap passes and probably get a lot of people to come. get old rails from the local mountains. i found a decent slope on a lot outside of burlington thats for sale, and we thought about it, but it would be difficult to get going while in school. but i say if you go for it, you could most definitely find some help and funding from people. insurance would be very difficult though.
BTW, i have an old 14 foot or so flat bar that im planning on bringing up to burlington and setting up in the woods somewhere for people to use whenever. if people have other rails and a good suggestion of an area to put it in that would be sweet too

anyone got a pressure washer they want to let us use on those cold cold nights?

this is my first year in btown and i can't wait for the snow, i want to ski down main street

some of the engineering majors that live on pearl are planning on making a snowmaker and having a rail.

there has been an ongoing project now for the past few years at lyndon to put a t bar on the hill at school to be coupled with the boxes that are supposed to be built soon. It was planned that the mountain rec majors would run and maintain it.
