Terrain park box construction material help.

So I am planning on building a terrain park box for my backyard and I ordered a sheet of ABS plastic for $20. After reading some more I learned that the boxes are usually made of HDPE. Does anyone know if ABS works the same or similar? I don’t really want to just put this plastic to waste just to by something that might do the same exact thing.

I think the ABS will be a little soft, but I could be wrong. However should work just fine for backyard material.

The best material, and what most resorts use is going to be UHMW. If you get the 1/2” sheet (mad expensive) you can countersink the hardware and fasten it nicely.

Post pics when done.

I'm not sure how it slides honestly, never used it. That said probbly not worth getting HDPE or UHMW because they're expensive. Also a lot of times shipping is wild unless you get smaller than 2'x4'.

Also worth it to ad some steal of pvc coping so you aren't digging into the edge while you grip. Probably makes sense to just rock some pvc.
