Tenney Mountain Update

Tenney Mountain, October 4th

Today was so much better then july 4th. they actually have a good amount of snow. they had one table...it sucked..but they could set up a rail on that for next weekend. they had a 25 foot flat bar set up, that was alright. it was set up pretty weak, but definitly has some potential. the rainy weather sucked, but it didnt rain too hard. i talked to the park manager and he said they might set up the flat-down-flat, for next weekend, and will probably set up the rainbow and hip-o for next weekend. he said they might put the flat down on the table but i dont know, but overall it was good for oct.4th and will definitly get better over the next few weeks. they are havin some good events soon too

my opinion: fucking awesome for october 3rd. its not top to bottom skiing but it was fucking worth it. tanner rainville made the jump and the rail his bitch doin fakie 3 grabs off the jump and fakie on railslides and railslides to 270 off. as well as we preston killing it on the rail and the jump.on a sidenote: tuesday mike nick and jp auclair will be at tenney for a photoshoot.

but well worth the hour n a half drive for me. it was fun to be back on snow.

i went today and it sucked. not as much on tenneys part, but there were ppl there with race skis rippn up the in run to the jump. makn huge ass ruts and small moguls. they jump has potential to be better, they just gotta move some snow with a grommer and make a decent take off. ill go back another time. but i got 5 free red bulls som im not gonna complain about the $20 i payed to ski there.

looks like the 300 feet of hill they have there was absolutly rippin. The one thing that got me was in the first post the 'park manager' line made me laugh my ass off. Park Manager? more like shovel what snow we have over those rocks manager.

tenney was a big improvement from last july. the hit needs a bigger kicker, and the rails kinda wierd. very nuttable. the main problem was the rain.

theres definatel some things they can change, btu for the most part it was pretty good. peopel need to stop talking shit, espeacially vtrider.

ha, we go to the siver session, they have carboard cutouts of jp and mike. or they just flat out say they couldnt make it. i believe nothing they say anymore.

^ hahahahahahahha cardboard cut outs HAHAHAHA awesome. i wanna take the jp one home and we can give the mike nick one to antadam to use as target practice since they get along so well.but yeah i might be coaching the freestyle team for the park and a helping hand in designing the park, which is a new venture for me to get into and it should be an awesome experience if any of you guys wanna go to tenney on the days i go, i can get people in free.. take it easy guys!

why not build a dirt base for all the features, just just make enough snow to cover it all up? Not only would that make it easier to blow enough snow for decent hits, but their shape/lips/landings would be way more consistent.

jib you do present a good idea.. tha helps get the hits up quicker as well as keeping it the same size throughout the season.. i will take note of that and see waht dan says b/c since it is a private mtn we can move stuff in and out.. on a side note the www.bluejrails.com look awesome and BIG be on the look out this year for tenney to host some big air comps..not sure what size of venue but im sure goodies will be given away as dan has many hookups in the ski world

is anyone going to be there tuesday? me and a friend are driving over from VT monday night.. anyone got a nice floor to sleep on? We are two single boys and very disease free.

that looks a hell of a lot better than the 4th of july sshit...ill be there the weekend after colombus day, and the 25th for siver sessions...they have some improvments by then, so it shoudl be sick...ill be there more too, but those are the only dates im sure of....gallant, you are getting me in for free

i wanna make the jump because im so hero at makn jumps. (working at nashoba, being the only one willing to make a jump i know how to make the best out of little resources) id be willing to help out sometime.

He then went straight at the jump but right before he hit it he stopped and ran back up to me and kicked me in the shin really hard with his ski boot and touched my bum while i was down. Next while I was writhing in pain in the snow he put on a little pointy dunce hat and red speckled glasses and pranced about singing 'I am cookie fairy! the cookie fairy! Would you like some Chocolate chip cookies? how about some peanut peacan cookies? What is your desire, I'll make it in a cinch, when it comes to cookies and sweets, nothing says homebaked food like bryan fucking gallant'
