Tempurpedic...worth it?

I'm getting a house next year in Denver (hopefully), and have been pretty pumped on not sleeping in a skinny ass dorm bed. Anyway, I'm all about getting a good nights sleep, and was wondering if it was worth popping for the tempurpedic. Has anyone here slept on one/owned one? I want to hear your stories and reviews.

There SOOO sick and comfy, but really expensive. I have just a tempur foam mat that you put over a regular mattress, and it's just as nice, but 1-2 grand cheaper btw.

my bed has a 4inch layer of tempurpedic on top.

most comfortable bed ive ever had, not to soft so you dont sink in, and not stiff as a board. deffinatly worth the investment if you enjoy your rest.

IKEA sells memory foam mat things. they are really awesome. I have one on my bed, it's sooo comfy

Yea sam. Ida had one in that sick house she stayed at in the village. It was so comfy. Best nights sleep ever. It was the legit bed too not just the pad.
