how good is telluride cause my college is taking a ski club trip there in january and im trying to decide if i should go or not. it's a 4 day pass, lodging, round trip transportation, ect. what i really wanna know is how good is the terraign overall and how is their park. soooooooo...who's been there and what did you think?

where do ou usually ski? tell is real spread out so you spend a lot of time just getting from one place to another.

I think Anthony Boronowski in general is just a phase.
 
i usually ski in minnesota but i dont know if that really qualifies as skiing. out west i usually go to vail and beaver creek every year but i didnt make it last year.

yeah, i know i'm gonna end up going cause it's pretty cheap and my parent are payin anyways, but how's their park and do they have any backcountry type shit?

Someone told me it might be el nino this year and i heard telluride gets sick amounts of snow during el nino same goes with any restort in the south west

Theyre park is not bad at all I was actually impressed with it. Skiing is alot better than lots of places in summit county in colorado too. Back Country there can be pretty sketch. They have some but bro youre from minnesota my guess is you dont know shit about avalanches or being in the backcountry and would probably be best if you stay out of that, otherwise youll end up killing yourself or worse someone else.

i've been to all over vail and beaver creek every year for a damn long time. i know how to ski within my limits. dont worry. thanks for lettin me know about the place everyone. im goin for sure

They just recently opened up bear creek drainage which is one of the most notoriously unsafe places to ski. Telluride is not an area to be traveling in the backcountry when you are from Minnesota and have no avalanche prediciting ability.

Is Lifestylez Productions putting on the trip? If so they are also having a trip to Copper Mt. January 3-8th and they have a pretty sick park there, not to mention thats where over 2,000 other students are going that week so the parties are gonna be good. Of course Telluride would be cool to check out as well, never been there.

they have the largest, most plentiful moguls of any mountain in the state. seriuosly, the moguls on the plunge and spiral stairs are like the size of small cars, and they ain't even close to short runs either.

i dont know what company is putting the whole thing on but they said there will be like 1500 other students there too so it's prolly similar to the copper thing

T-ride is sick. Definitely better than Vail or Beaver Creek. The park is decent. Gold Hill is fun. The BC gates at the top of Gold Hill lead to some nice terrain, but be careful. And the actual town is probably to coolest ski town in Colorado. Go.
