Im going to Telluride december 14-20 with my ski club. Ive never been there and am wondering how there park usually is and how much is usually up at that point in the season. also any other tips about whats good there would be nice

thats funny i am going there the week before you with my ski club. if you want me to send you the trip teaser from our trip let me know

Dude, if you go to Telluride def go heli skiing. They have a sweet heli skiing outfit up there

i dont think it would be called lame. was rated inthe top 10 by ski and freeskier mags. may not be known for park though. thats what im trying to figure out

I went two years ago and the jumps were pretty good in the park, but it's the last thing you should be spending time in if you're in Telluride.

Yah I'm going with MSU ski club too... I've seen pics of the park, looks pretty decent, prly better than any michigan park..hah Anyways, Telluride was said to have the most lift accessed backcountry.. so I'll prly be skiin some pow most likely, pretty much why i got MSPs this season.. althought they're prly not wide enough still

Telluride is not known for its park, but nontheless it is the sickest place in the southwest. Lots of steep chutes and secret powder stashes in the trees. The park is definately respectable. There are usually two lines of six packs one medium set and one large set leading into a HUGE big air jump. Not a huge amount of snow yet so I would bet the park will be only jibs maybe a couple small jumps mid-December. The pipe hasn't opened until mid-January the past couple of years.

yah it's definitely not, but it's super duper fun anyway, probably one of my fave resorts cause it's in the middle of nowhere and it's rarely very crowded...plus it's really steep and fast and gets a lot of pow, loads of fun

telluride has got some ski skiing some crazy trees and such but not the best park. still a dope mtn though

i just got back from my schools trip and they only had one small park open off chair 4 it had two small jumps (10-15 feet) a flat box, kinked box, a down hill rail, a flat rail,l a curved box and two boxes at the end the last two days. Chair nine opened while i was there and the tree skiing was sick. the other chairs that were open were 5 and 6. Anyways night life was fun and i defiantly suggest the brown dog for pizza and fun, skiers union for burgers, and baked in telluride for pastries

are you stupid?

telluride is fantastic if you hit it right for damn sure. the park is good at best if they have it up. they usually have a big three kicker line a wall ride, assorted rails and boxes, halfpipe the usual. deffinetly hit up lift 12 and goldhill 14 if you go. do the hike-to's off of 12. hike up to genevieve thats where the snow is usually best

i was at telluride today and it was sick. the snow was was soft except for where they were blowing snow and the park isnt big but its a sick setup for early season.

really you dont go to telluride for park just find some steeps and some cliffs and go at em. you can ski park anywhere else but they have some epic lines there to hit.

I'm in telluride now, the town is fuckin sick, so is the mountain, good place. Gettin drunk as fuck here tonight on a pub crawl.

Poke around off lifts 12 and 14 and you'll find plenty.

They've upped the park too, a triple set of jumps and a couple boxes set up. They're blowing snow like hell for the main park, I would think it'll be done in the next couple of days.
