Telling the truth

i've realized that lying is only the biggest way to get you in trouble and the best way to lose friends. Im watching one of my buddies tear himself apart because he ruined not only his and my friendship, but my friendship with a former girlfriend and really good friend, because he lied.

so thats it. this year, no more lying.

its a rant, sure, but its about time to make some changes for the better. who's with me?

whhhat?

I don't lie to people I care about, but cmon now. there is no benefit to telling the truth a lot of times. especially in school or to police. for example I went with my friend to the abc store (gov stores that sell liquor in VA) and the woman asked if I was 21. I stupidly didn't lie and said no, I'm 20, but I'm not buying anything. she told me to get out. I said "I know that's not a rule, I'm allowed to be in here" and she said "it's my rule, get out." my friend lied and said he was 21 but didn't have his ID, and they let him stay. lying is necessary because there's so many stupid, arbitrary rules out there, and stupid people.

lying to close friends and stuff sucks though. its best to not end up in a situation that you'd need to. that's what I do.

i have a friend who tell little white lies

and then more little white lies to get out of the white lies already told

and im just like

get out

your dad doesn't drive a viper and a 1968 corvette

i lie so much. if it's friends and shit then no, but anything else i lie about. shit i would be expelled from school if i didn't lie. our VP is an asshole, and can't prove anything but thinks he can. so i just lie and tell him to prove it and he tells me to get out of his office. it's the best thing in the world.

yea but sometimes you have to plan your lies a bit so that they dont bite you in the ass later on
