I'm 5'10''-5'11''ish and just got my PE's at 169 because I am currently skiing a 170 that is not twin tip. I thought 1 cm wouldn't make much difference but now that I have been reading up in this site I'm woundering if this is too short. Would it be worth it to send them back and wait another 5 days extra to ski these at 179

 
im 5'9 to like 5'11 cant remmebr anymore but i ride 164's and ive never reallly found it a problem

if you were on a 170 then the 169 shoud be fine cus thats what your used to. the fact that its a twin tip and prob more forwardly mounted will just help you go switch and spin better.

im 5 11 and i ski 180's but thats cus i was used to a 184 beforehand. i say stick with the legth your on.

i dont understand why you would care if anyone else thinks the skis are the right length for you or not. If you like that length then keep them. If you felt like you needed more ski when you were riding your 170's then by all means go for the 179's. Who the fuck cares what anyone else is riding, ride the length that you like the best not what other people say you should be on.

thanks alot. you guys are like the only one's to tell me not to ski 180's because that's what tanner does and your a pussy if you ski a short ski. Now I'm relieved

 
im not being and idiot telling you to ski longer skis but im saying that im 5 11' and ski 181 madtrix. honestly i can't tell the difference between these and my old 150s

Dude, think about what you are saying...^ Oh, and I got the 169's too and I am like 5'11' and I heard somewhere that the k2 skis are different in terms of measurement. I heard that the PE's are measured in terms of effective edge, and hence would be about, I dont know, longer or something. I dont really know it could be a rumor.

i'm like 5 10 and i have 169 pe's.. they are a sick ski. It would depend on what type of skiing you do and if your planning on growing anymore.. Like, if you ski a lot of park and groomers, then i think i would just keep the 169 and save all the hastle.. But, if you ski out west and do a lot of powder/big mountain skiing, it might be worth it to step up to the 179s.. Either way, they are the best skis i've riden... Good choice!

how are you 5'10 and on 164s? i am like 5'3 to 5'4 and am i fatty 160s... which rule, and are right for me... those are like snowblades for you..
