Tell me if i am being paranoid

So I was going to smoke a bowl with my buddy, and we went to some ally on campus to do it. We see this spoon on the ground, and without thinking I pick it up, and it was a heroin cooking spoon, and I didnt realize until after picking it up that it was a really stupid call to do that because heroin users cook their heroin in there and then suck it up with their dirty needles which can have hepatitis, syphilis, or HIV. So, if I accidentally touched a scab or my eyes, or happened to open a beer can with my dirty fingers and drink from it before remembering to wash my hands (oops), there is a chance I could get sick. I know it isnt a big chance, but im still worried. Does NS think i should get tested or am I just paranoid?
 
Not every one who uses heroin has an STD. You're being extremely paranoid and there really isn't anything to worry about. You can't get AIDS by skin to skin contact, there has to be some sort of sterility involved. Such as exchanging of bodily fluids or what not. That pipe was probably sitting in that alley for weeks or months and no virus can withstand the world for that long.
 
my pastor was right marijuana will, and always will, in someway or another to heroin.

i think you're being paranoid. the heroin user would have needed to bleed or ejaculate on the spoon so you should be straight.
 
you guys are probably right, but I am just gunna get some standard tests when I go in to get the required vaccines before college this month
